First tripo
My family traveled for the first time to Panama. Our journey there was a long one. We arrived in Panama at 7:15 pm and were overwhelmed by the loudness and language barrier immediately. We had to haggle for a shuttle to take us to the house. It took 2 hours of fast crazy driving in the darkness. The driver was very nice. My two sons were waiting at the house for us. The house was very clean, air conditioned and spacious. We met up with Kevin the next morning and he was very helpful. We rented two golf carts for the eight of us. There is really nothing within walking distance. The resort property was very nice and the people very friendly. It is expensive for taxis to go anywhere and probably not a bad idea to know some Spanish. The food was mediocre at best in the restaurants, but the staff were so helpful. Even though we had a hard time understanding them. I would recommend renting property for a group. You just have to make sure groceries are accessible and for the most part they were. Just not what we are used to, but that's not bad. The property was well worth the price we paid and I would certainly rent another home in our travels.
