Gouldsboro Vacation Rental cottage

My husband, 16 year old son and I just spent a week in this wonderful cottage. The views from this property are amazing! Across the cove you can see the beautiful rock shoreline and spruce and fir treeline, to the left is beautiful open ocean! The tide comes up almost under the spacious deck. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon and the moonlight on the water was breath taking! We have spent the last five years vacations in the Bluehill area of Maine and visited the part of Acadia with "Ocean Drive and The Park Loop Road. While that was so beautiful, we really enjoyed the quiet dramatic beauty of the Schoodic Peninsula. I hesitated to write this review because we would love to keep this part of the world our little secret, but we know that we should share this exceptional scenery with everyone! The cottage was clean and well equipped with everything that we needed. We appreciated the comfortable bed and pillows and the upscale kitchen pots and pans, knives etc. We all whole heartedly reccomend this cottage and hope that we will be fortunate enough to return.
