The house is at the lake (Town Lake) and right on the hike and bike trail, so you never have to encounter a single car, on your bike ride. You can even bike to the bars. We have two bikes and two kayaks available for your use. The lake is one of the cleanest city lakes in the nation - so you can swim and kayak during your free time.

My husband and I spent a wonderful weekend here. This house is a little gem with a great location (a fantastically diverse area- you get a real feel for Austin) and open light filled spaces. It was very clean and organized. There's tons of deck space surrounded by mature trees- perfect for an afternoon of relaxation. One of the owners was there to greet us and even took us for a walk around the neighborhood to show us the lake. He had fresh fruit, muffins, coffee, milk and juice waiting for us in the kitchen so we didn't have to run to the store. We were made to feel like personal guests! This house was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Highly reccomended!

We had the pleasure of recently staying in Luciana and Alex's beautiful guest house. I must say, pictures can NOT capture how stunning this place really is... This house (along with its tranquil surroundings) is the perfect embodiment of what Austin has to offer- You will appreciate its modernness, artsiness, peacefulness, and beautiful simplicity. Its unique architecture and natural lighting is truly one of a kind. The house (and its fantastic location) encourages you to enjoy the amazing outdoors. We loved running, biking, and kayaking around Lady Bird Lake (just a block away) as well as tanning and eating our meals outside on the top balcony. Its also just a quick car ride to downtown, where you can eat at great local restaurants and listen to the best live music in the world! We highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to feel the true "essence" of Austin!!!

The photos of this placed looked great when I booked it and I was surprised that it looked even better in person. Stunning piece of property. Amazing light throughout the house, great art on the walls, everything done with taste.

The owners were also extremely accommodating. When I checked in and noticed there wasn't a stereo for my ipod, Luciana went right out and got some speakers for the place.

Great place. I highly recommend it if you are looking for a place to relax in Austin and still be relatively close to all Austin has to offer.
