Rosarito Beach Villa Rental Photos and Description

Villa, 2 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Hi folks! Thank you for the interest in our fabulous Baja place. If you would like to escape the busy beaches and the hectic parking of the California seaside resorts then check out our place. Our place has amazing, tranquil views unlike any other place. We also have a private, beautiful white sand beach just below our that is never crowded. Baja is so tranquil and quiet and it will allow you to imagine what California looked like before it became a cement metropolis. We are a beautiful Baja place like none of the rest. Only about a one hour drive south of the San Diego Airport!

Amazing Luxury Beach Villa with unbelievable, million dollar views. This place is truly lives up to its name Villa Paraiso (Paradise Villa) with its enchanting 'Big Sur' views. This unique, beautiful Mediterranean style villa was designed by an architect (the son of the famous Mexican artist Jose Orosco). This modern yet rustic gem is 1800' sq. ft. and has high ceilings with dark wood beams. It has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 3 ocean view decks. It sleeps four comfortably with 2 queen size beds, but it also has an inflatable queen aero bed for additional sleeping. Sleeps four comfortably, but can accommodate up to 6 people.

Check out the pictures and imagine sipping your margaritas on the deck, listening to the soft, tranquil sounds of the sea, and watching the dolphins play in the surf below. They come everyday in the AM and again in the afternoon. Sometimes they are out all day and they put on a better show than at Seaworld. Truly amazing sunsets. At night you can see all the stars and the Milky Way. Also, if you stay up late you can also catch the moon setting and sparkling over the ocean as well.

**Folks, these rates split between two couples make our place even more affordable than the nice hotels in Baja and they can only dream of our views, our kitchen and our fabulous living room.

24hr & New Video Home Security, jacuzzi tub in bathroom #2, full kitchen, skylights, domed brick ceilings in the kitchen and in the dining room, pillowtop beds with 600 count plush sheets. ALL NEW 46'Plasma Flat Screen TV w/great cable package. Private washer and dryer as well.

This palace also includes a gas fire pit on the front deck for cool nights and a huge fireplace in the living room surrounded by windows with sunset views. It is a romantic getaway like no other.

It is located about 10 min. South of Rosarito and 20 min. North of Ensenada in Northern Baja. This is about an hour south of the San Diego Airport. It is on a cliff just north of the La Fonda Restaurant. La Fonda, by the way, is one of the most amazing, classic restaurants in Baja. It has amazing food and live music every night. They have great steamed pacific lobster and great filet mignon. It is just down the hill less than 2 min. away. The Famous “Puerto Nuevo' the lobster village is also just up the road about five minutes away. Both are a must while visiting.

There is great surfing all around us. Our front deck overlooks the infamous K58 Surf spot. There are also several great empty beach breaks just below us on the beach. The famous San Miguel point break is twenty minutes south of us. K38's and Calafia Bay are about 10 minutes north of us. If you are a big wave rider the infamous island of Todos Santos is just off Ensenada which is 20 minutes south of us. You can go to the Ensenada harbor and rent a boat ride out. There is horseback riding on the beach and ATV riding in the dunes just down the road from us. The are many beautiful vineyards up in the hills near Ensenada for wine tasting. The place is also about an 8 minute drive to Bajamar, which is the 'Pebble Beach' golf course of Baja. 27 holes, 9 on the water!

If you're feeling extravagant here are some additional luxuries that we offer as well:

**Couples Massage in our livingroom overlooking the ocean. Contact owners for more info, but this is awesome!

**Romantic flower package. If you are having a special occasion we have one flower option that is great. You can get you an assortment of long stem beautiful roses or Available flowers decorated through out the house. The cost is $35 dollars. It makes things special and guys remember that girls love flowers.

Call or e-mail us at website.

Thx,

Paul & Sue

Recent Testimonials from Clients:

Hi Paul-

I just wanted to let you know we had a fabulous time at the beach villa. It

was gorgeous!! The ocean views were amazing and so relaxing. You have a

really nice place and we will definitely be going back! Your

recommendations for places to go/eat was really helpful too- thanks for everything! Erica

Hi Paul, I am Bob Neilson's wife, and I wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic weekend (June 2-4)! I would never stay anywhere else besides your place, it was beautiful and in a great location. We also trekked out to the wine country with our friends and had a fun adventure. We appreciate all the information you provided to Bob.

Hasta luego... Bonnie Neilson

Hi Sue,

Thanks a million everything was perfect. I had more than a good time the house was everything it was in the pictures. I think we're gonna try to go for a little longer next summer so I will be keeping in touch with you. The locals were great, the food was great, and my wife said La Fonda's spa can really give wonderful massages. My only regret was having to come back to our 110 degree weather, but someone has to. So thanks again.

About The Owner

Sue and I have owned our vacation villa since 2005. We put our hearts & soul into making it the relaxing 'Dream Villa' that we would want from a rental.

The Owner purchased this villa in 2005

Why The Owner chose Rosarito Beach

The views from our 3 decks are so amazing that all you will want to do when you get there is to sit, relax and enjoy them. There is something magical about our views. Guests talk about it all the time.

What makes this villa unique

It is super peaceful, safe and what you don't get from the photo's is the soft sound of the ocean below which adds to the amazing experience. The world slows down when you sit on out front deck and relax.

Great view and plenty of space...

  • 4 of 5

When we arrived at the home and opened the door we were wowed by the view. Being on a bluff makes such a difference. The rental property pictures did not show a photo to the left side, which was more industrial looking, with development in progress. We took most of our pictures facing the opposite direction, in such a way that you could not see the properties to the right of the patio. Two of the three patios of this second floor home, were spacious, especially the one off both the master bedroom/ dining area. We had most of our meals there. Having so many windows around the home made it feel so much larger. The fireplace was ok, but you have to know how to deal with the damper.

The home had plenty of living area space. The kitchen had a blender, which was used frequently! There were no other renters on either side of us during our stay, which made for great privacy!

Cathy was excellent. She went above and beyond, particularly with our transportation needs, to assist us. She answered any questions we had in a timely manner. She scheduled the birthday cake for the time we requested, and had the home decorated with roses, before we arrived. Truly a wonderful addition. (We would highly recommend this!) The sofa was super comfy and large.

The directions to the home were clear and easy to understand, as well as the information provided for activities in the general area. (We would, however, advise looking into reviews of the restaurants in Puerto Nuevo, known for it's lobster). We recommend you stock up on groceries before you arrive, as it is a bit of a drive to locate a store from the rental.

The reason we gave the home a 4 star rating , rather than five was due to several things. When we tried the garbage disposal, black gunk spurted out. (We did inform Cathy of this). We did not use it the rest of our stay, covering it with paper towels, due to the smell. The oven was very slow and when we did use it, baked unevenly. The kitchen could really use some updating. Cupboards, stove, counters... There were plenty of utensils and dishes to use. The floors were not as clean as they should have been. All of our feet were black not long after we walked around the home. The clothes washes was dirty, with caked on soap...needs a good cleaning.

The beds were decorated nicely. The master was quite soft and we experienced back aches. We spent one night on the sofa.

All in all this was a very nice place! Thank you for sharing your home!

Owner's Response: We are glad you had a great time and we appreciate all the feedback. We have addressed the issues brought up and we are happy to say that are no longer issues or at least as far as we can help. We came in right after this group and our kitchen was actually clean and spotless, the garbage disposal was also clean and working fine. I even put my hand in it to check. Our cleaning lady makes sure all the tile floors are super clean and smelling "pine sol" fresh when you enter. We highly recommend people taking off their shoes when they enter as most of Baja is made up of dirt roads. Walking around Baja your shoes will pick up dirt and if you walk around our place the dirt will get on the floors especially if you are there for a week. We also pride ourselves on our super, soft comfy beds with 1800 threadcount sheets. People love how comfy and soft they are. We obviously can't make them hard for special needs clients so maybe (in the future) feel free to ask what kind of beds we have before you go. We try to do our best to be accommodating. Thanks again for the feedback! Cheers, Paul & Sue

Absolutely Amazing!

We truly had the most fantastic time...this was a late booking for us as we had family come in from Canada and wanted to do something a little different. Paul and Sue were super accommodating, even after I realized I had mixed up my dates. We were sent letters full of information on things to do, places to eat etc. While we travel frequently to the larger Mexican cities, this was our first time to this area and we truly were pleasantly surprised with the offerings....every night we left our sliding doors open and listened to the waves crashing...we watched the dolphins playing in the waves...my stepson rented a surf board for ten dollars for three days and tried his best to ride the waves in....the showers had great water pressure...I have chronic health issues and unfortunately needed medical attention..Cathy the property manager suggested a clinic and I had first rate care at the most beautiful hospital I have ever seen...check out sanoviv.com....Dr Lorena was both kind and knowledgeable....it was so nice....thanks Paul and Sue...we look forward to our next visit. The beach was lovely...I even went for a walk on my own one night, with Loba, the security dog and felt completely safe....

THE PERFECT HIDEOUT!

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I stayed at "Villa Paraiso" for three nights and only regret that we couldn't stay longer. Everything in the description of the condo is real and not a "sales effort". We live in Southern California and have visited many places along the coast in Baja California. This time was the absolute best!

The drive down is easy and made easier by the excellent directions given by both Paul and Cathy. The location, close to the village of La Mision, is very good because it is away from the runaway development of Rosarito. Instead, the location is reminiscent of the Baja we remember from many years ago. The condo itself is exactly as described. Wonderfully relaxing with superb views from all rooms and the three decks. The design and décor is just perfect for this part of the world and the amenities such as the outdoor grill, the fire pit, the audio visual equipment and the truly excellent kitchen make life easy for the vacationer. The local hotgels are great to visit and we enjoyed lunch at our oldl friend, the "Original Hotel La Fonda".

Our only disappointment was that walking to the almost perfect beach took longer than we would have liked, but we went anyway and enjoyed it. We will always remember the cocktail hour watching the sun set with a glass of wind and later, steaks from the grill and yes, a little more wine. This is truly the perfect hideout and we will be back

Faboulous Get Away

  • 5 of 5

This weekend some friends and I had the privilege of staying at this condo. We were impressed from the moment we walked in, from the art work to the comfortable furnishings. That’s not even scratching the surface of the BEAUTIFUL views from all 3 balcony’s. We were all in desperate need of some RR and this definitely provided that hands down! While this condo is only 2 bedrooms it seems so much more spacious. There were 4 of us and I never felt as though we were in each other’s way. From lounging on the front balcony to playing UNO at the dining room table or just kicking back in the chair made for two and watching a movie. The fireplace provided a very cozy area while taking in 2 of mother nature’s greatest things, fire and water. We slept with the balcony door open just to be able to enjoy the soothing sounds of the crashing waves and wake up to the low glow of the sun on the horizon. With so many things provided we felt like this was the perfect getaway and we would definitely return, hopefully in the near future! Thank you for sharing your piece of paradise with us.

P.S. We would like to thank Cathy for all her wealth of information and kindness.

Amazing Getaway

  • 5 of 5

This place exceeded my expectations. It was my first time travelling to Mexico so I was not sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised! The drive was so smooth and easy thanks to the wonderful directions provided by Sue and Cathy. Upon our arrival Cathy was there to greet us and make sure we got settled in and had everything we needed. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed. We went to one of the nearby restaurants one night for dinner and stayed in and cooked the next night. The fully equipped kitchen was great! Most of our time was spent on the main deck enjoying the beautiful ocean views, amazing sunsets, and dolphin watching. It was so relaxing! Just what I was looking for. We were also able to enjoy some recreational activities including horseback riding on the beach and riding ATV's. This is a great place to escape and I can't wait until I can go back!
