Photos and Description of the Waycross vacation cabin rental Cabin - 1 Bedroom + Den - 1 Bath - (Sleeps 4-6)

Our beautiful property has activities for all ages. The most important is beauty and serenity. Waking up to a glorious sunrise, getting in the John Boat and cruising the lake is Pleasure and Peace. Coming back from a healthy hike on one of our trails or a fun ride in your private golf cart, you can be refreshed in our pool. Our pool-pavilion has a full kitchen and powder room. There are many great places to dine. (Don't forget you can catch you dinner in one of our lakes). We are minutes from St. Simons Island, Brunswick, Jekyll Island, Okefenokee Swamp and I-95. We are only 1 hour from Savannah and Jacksonville. The Lulaton Airport is 5 minutes from our gate. Our lake property also has 5 acres on the Satilla river. A great place to put in you canoe or kayak or just relax by sunbathing, swimming or playing on the beautiful white sandy beach.

We are conveniently located between Waycross, Georgia and the Okefenokee Swamp to our West.(appx) 30 minutes and going South, you are 30 to 35 minutes from the Golden Isles of Georgia(Brunswick, St. Simons Island and Jekyll Island). We are 7 miles from the Big Horse Stables and just a short ride to St. Marys, Georgia where you can catch the ferry to Cumberland Island.

Great weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time including our 4 kids,they swam played golf and enjoyed many rides on the golf cart.This is a very cozy and quiet get away perfect for a lonfg weekend! Bob and Eleanor are very nice and helpful.We hope to return soon!

Comfortable, great southern hospitality

Our family was very comfortable. Our son fished daily and when he caught fish, Bob, one of the owners was so helpful. He brought us tools to clean the fish and a scale, so the fish stories would be a bit accurate. The cabin was comfortable, well appointed and the pool slide made a great hit. All in all we had a terrific time and would certainly return if we come back to Georgia. Eleanor and Bob are fabulous hosts.

Great getaway!

This is a wonderful getaway. It is very secluded with lots to do. We canoed, caught fish, went on nature hikes, and just enjoyed relaxing and getting away from it all. Bob and Eleanor were perfect hosts and we will definitely have to find time to come back.

We had such a wonderful time at The Property! We are looking for a time to come back already! Bob and Eleanor are both the BEST hosts. Our whole family loved every minute of our time there!

Our family had an absolutely wonderful time at the Property!!!! It's more beautiful then the pictures can convey, and our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay...it just wasn't long enough!! Added to the natural beauty and many fun things to do is the kindness and hospitality of Bob and Eleanor! They are fantastic hosts! Our only regret is that we don't live closer so that we could come back more often!!!
