The best family vacation!

This is the perfect place to enjoy your summer vacation! The home is beautiful, as is the lake and beaches. There is so much to do in this area, you could spend all summer there! Our kids always love kayaking, building sand castles, and playing in the waves. The water is crystal clear and the sky is blue. If you get a rainy day you can go into the charming little town of Frankfort and check out the shops and restaurants. My kids love comparing all the ice cream shops. There is also a wonderful old movie theatre in Frankfort. There are many fun destinations for a day trip including: Traverse City, floating on the Platte River, Sleeping Bear Dunes, Glen Arbor (you have to visit Cherry Republic) and Mackinac Island! There are also a lot of activities that vary depending on the week that you can check out on the bulletin board at the grocery store like outdoor concerts, festivals in the surrounding towns or at Crystal Mountain, plays, pancake breakfasts, etc. There is wonderful golfing in the area, as well. The property is clean and well maintained. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need if you want to cook at home. I would highly recommend this as a destination, but it is one of the best kept secrets in America. It is worth the drive!

Owner's Response: We just provided the extra kayaks and the lake provides a safe spot to boat enjoy the dunes.
The theater is newly renovated and has a variety of entertainment.
