Leavitt Bay is one of 3 Bays that flow in to Lake Ossipee, which is 3000 acres. Leavitt Bay(176 acres) is clear and clean with sandy bottom and more peaceful than the large lake. A channel from Leavitt Bay leads to larger Broad Bay which can be crossed to a longer channel that brings you to the lovely shores of Lake Ossipee. Smaller Berry Bay is also accessed by a short channel. Leavitt Bay is perfect for swimming, jet ski, boating and fishing. Calm enough for kayak and rowboat which is provided. Private Dock available in Summer.
