Surry Cottage is located 6 miles east of downtown Truckee. It is conveniently to all locations but with less traffic and it is easy to get into in winter. the Cottage is decorated in a cozy Country fashion. Antiques throughout the house. The 2 story house sleeps up to 8 people in 3 bedrooms and has 2 bathrooms. Master Bedroom is a King size bed with a deck off of it. 2nd King size bed with a deck off it as well 3rd 1 Queen bed & 1 Full bed. Linens, towels and kitchen amenities provided. There is a washer and dryer with soap and dryer softeners. Upstairs has a full kitchen, living room, dining room. Living room has a large screen TV with surround sound DVD player and DVDs. Living room has leather furniture. A Webber BBQ gas is on the upper deck and is great anytime of the year. NOTE: Caretakers are on site. Parking Pad holds 2 cars. Snow Removal provided.

We are 6 miles east of Truckee. It is about a 35 mile drive into Reno. The Ski areas NorthStar, Alpine, Squaw, and the Donner Ski areas as well. The Truckee River is less then a 1/4 mile from the Cottage. Fishing and Hiking are also close to the area. Lake Tahoe and 2 other major lakes are very close. Donner Lake and its area are 8 miles from the Cottage. All Outdoor activites are with in ones reach.
