Lovely Spacious Downtown Location

  • 5 of 5
We very much enjoyed our stay - the house is spacious, clean, well equipped and thoughtfully furnished with some lovely and fun artwork. Irina's instructions were easy to follow and we appreciated the central heating in unseasonably cold weather!
The location is ideal for exploring Toronto, we walked a lot but found the streetcar at the top of the road and the nearby subway easy to access. The whole family (age range 79-10yrs) absolutely loved our stay .
The local area is a little "gritty" but we felt comfortable at all times and found the street quiet and loved the quirky Victorian properties on it.

Family time in Toronto

  • 5 of 5
We all really were impressed upon opening the doors of this grand art-filled home. It was clean, well-equipped and even stocked with kitchen supplies that allowed us to put together dinner a couple of hours after arrival.
Irina's well prepared instructions made for an easy entry, and all was in order for us to settle in quickly. This spacious home provided a great accommodation option for our family who had converged to attend a special wedding, and the location made it especially convenient for the comings and goings that went with the weekend.
Thank you for letting us enjoy this lovely vacation home. M & B and family

Huge Home for Family Vacation

  • 4 of 5
Arts on Seaton was a fantastic home for our family vacation (2 adults & 4 teenagers). The process to rent was very easy; the owner responded to requests quickly and everything was handled very efficiently. While most of the reviews comment on the size of the house, we still couldn't believe how huge it was! Perfect for a larger group. The layout was wonderful: bathrooms & bedrooms on 3 levels provided the right mix of privacy and togetherness. The bedrooms were all huge and so nicely decorated. The teens loved gathering on the top floor. Beds were comfortable, everything was clean and in good working order. I just can't say enough about the beauty & tastefulness of the home.

The location of the house was very good for walking to transportation and various attractions. It is a very urban location, and we did see our fair share of characters. We always felt safe and walked everywhere -- we're from a large city so used to the elements of city living -- but it definitely is a neighborhood still in transition.

Overall, we greatly enjoyed our stay, and would recommend Arts on Seaton to friends and family. Thank you Irina for sharing your beautiful home with us!

UK visitors for family wedding

  • 5 of 5
Absolutely superb house in a beautiful, leafy area which is in the process of gentrification but still has the character and feel of a 'real' neighbourhood. It is also very conveniently located for the downtown and the regular streetcars provide easy access to everywhere. The house itself is stunning and very spacious and was ideally suited to our needs. We were a party of seven adults over from the UK for a family wedding. It was a lovely place to come home to and relax in after all the excitement of the celebrations. We even had a mother raccoon and her two babies sleeping on the pergola in the back yard! We also loved the black squirrels which were everywhere - we don't see that kind in the UK.
The local people were incredibly friendly and helpful with directions etc. The owners were very obliging if we had any queries but were not intrusive. The rooms were spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The younger generation loved the attic room and the luxurious bathrooms! Would recommend this property to anyone who loves old houses and appreciates having a lot of space, which you would not find in an hôtel.

Fabulous House.

  • 5 of 5
We stayed for a week and found the property accurately described and depicted. It exceeded our expectations as there is no way of capturing the ambience of the fantastic art pieces that decorate the rooms and interact with the wall colors and the furniture. Each room has been decorated with care. the layout of the rooms provides spaciousness and both interaction but privacy. We were four adults , a teenager and a 10 year old and it all worked very well. Three full bathrooms and a powder room helped a great deal. All the amenities were as described and the property was immaculate when we arrived.

Irina and Raz are wonderful hosts and were exceedingly helpful when the ten year old got sick on Canada day. they responded quickly by email and telephone. The house is well supplied with books and materials on Toronto and the surroundings. We were very comfortable with the gentrifying neighborhood. Some of the party walked to many areas. As a 78 year old woman I used the trolley on Dundas to go in and out of downtown on my own while the rest were at a ballgame.

We enjoyed the museum special exhibition on Mesopotamia, the St Lawrence Market and the Distillery shops and restaurants. We enjoyed returning after a previous visit to Celestine's and found it even better. Er also enjoyed the lobster roll at Reds. But most of all we enjoyed eating at Fare Game twice. A restaurant about three blocks from the house with wonderful meals, well sauced, plated and fantastic service at a moderate price. Ate there twice and prepared two evening meals in the bright and well equipped kitchen.

Most of all I enjoyed my trip to the Art Fair at nathan Phillips Square where among other artists Irina had her hand crafted jewelry on display. One of kind gifts for others and for me. Son and family enjoyed the variety of vegetarian restaurants.

It was a great visit and we felt that Irina, Raz and their kindness and beautiful house added a dimension to it. Hope to return someday.

Perfect house!

  • 5 of 5
This house is simply perfect, I would recommend it without a doubt. First, it is so big! We were basically in awe when we opened the door on our arrival! But also, it is extremely well located within minutes walking to city center but still in a nice and quiet neighborhood. The house itself has a cozy atmosphere and feels very intimate. Two of the four rooms are well isolated from the other, which is always a plus. The kitchen is filled with natural light throughout the day. The entire house is decorated with amazing pieces of art which make the house very unique! And above all, the owners are probably the kindest person you can meet in Toronto! Thanks, we had an amazing time! Ariane O.P.
