Cabin, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 15)

Amazing luxury 5 bedroom timber built 2400 sq ft chateau, sitting on a fully manicured half acre lot with pristine mountain views, in the heart of the Windermere Valley. Walk across the street to 36 holes of top notch golfing at the Copper Point Golf and Country Club. 5 min to Windermere Lake, and a 15 min drive to Panorama Ski Resort/Grey Wolf Golf course, Fairmont Ski Hill & Hot Springs, or Radium Hot Springs. Awesome home base for snowmobiling, long paved driveway with lots of parking for all types of vehicles year round.

Great for family get-togethers, sleeps up to 15 comfortably, playhouse, horse shoes, and awesome fire pit in back yard. 2 big screen TV/DVD, pool/ping pong table, free wireless/long distance calls, ...this place has it all. Close to restaurants and shopping, right off the 95/93 highway, easy access. Prices based on 6 aduults and 4 children, extra fees for added occupants, and for long weekends & holidays. This property is not part of a private beach club. There is one king bed in the master bedroom, a queen bed in the 2nd and 3rd bedrooms, a queen and two single bunk beds in the 4th bedroom, a double bed (futon) and single bed in the 5th bedroom, two pull out sofas in the lower living room, and a queen blow-up mattress if needed. We prefer on-line email money transfers for payment, and we also accept 'PAYPAL' (3% fee, credit cards accepted).

In the interest of full disclosure, our ideal renters are FAMILIES, 30+ COUPLES, AND GOLF/SKI/SNOWMOBILE GROUPS, THIS IS A QUITE RETREAT, IN A QUIET COMMUNITIY, THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE, WE HAVE A STRICT AGE LIMIT OF 30 YEARS OR OLDER, UNLESS IT IS A FAMILY RENTAL. The neighbors on all sides keep a strict eye on the house, and will report anything out of the ordinary to local officials and our management team. Our manager will required you to verify with picture ID the numbers and ages of those in your rental group. Please make sure that this rental property suites your needs before you inquire.

About Blair Legault

I have 15+ years in residential real estate sales with Remax in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Our family has been renting properties in the Windermere Valley for years for family get togethers, sun/golf/snowmobile & ski vacations, great because it's only 3 hours from our home in Calgary. In 2006 my wife an I finally invested in what we felt was the perfect year round vacation property. Our large extended family treasures the time that we spend in this peaceful and relaxing location, and we wanted to share that experience with others.

Large half acre lot, 5 bedrooms, lots of room for large family get togethers, lake/golf or ski vacations. Playhouse for the kids, horse shoe pits, fire pit, pool/ping pong table...bowling alley 1 mile away. Lots to do, or just relax and enjoy the view on the veranda or back patio.

We had 10 people stay and ski for a week, lots of room, everyone had their space, very nice kitchen with a large enough table to sit EVERYONE ! Wifi worked well with iPads and laptops. 2 living rooms with televisions so we had 2 groups of people relaxing at one time, nice to have that kind of space! Very close to Invermere for all your needs. Easily fits five vehicles in the driveway, great for larger groups. We will stay again !

The cabin was great. A perfect setting for our young families. Toys, games and books for the kids with a craft table. Couldn’t have been better. The ping pong/pool talble and horseshoe pits were a definite favorite with the men. Great location. We would definitely like to use it again sometime. Maybe in the summer if it is available.

The house/cabin is perfect for our family get-together. There is plenty of space and rooms for all. It's a terrific place for adults and kids. The home is easily accessible and there are ammenities for all ages. It's nice to have the house located between Radium & Fairmount, it gives us alot of golf courses within a short driving distance to choose from. We all agree, we highly recommend this home for friends, relatives and will continue to book it yearly. Thank you Blair for letting us stay at your cabin.
