Guestbook comments from the manager

We had a fabulous time in Walla Walla and wanted to follow up with you on this rental. The ONLY criticism we have is that front bedrooms need some type of room darkening blinds. The outside security lights shine right through those windows and make it way too bright for restful sleeping. Other than that, we really loved this place. It was clean, well appointed, within walking distance of most places we dined and perfect for our party of 3 couples.

Thanks so much!

Awesome condo, but needs better maintenace and care

  • 4 of 5
We stayed there last weekend with two other couples for the Celebrate Walla Walla Wine event. The condo is very conveniently located to all of the events we attended. It is withint walking distanct to just about everything. The unit itself is modern and the 3 bdrm with 3 bathroom set up worked perfectly for our needs.

Here are the not so good things - although at first glance the unit looks tidy and clean, upon closer inspection, we found lots of filth. There were cobwebs in the window sills in the master bedroom, dust bunnies in the corners of the downstairs bedroom and bathroom, and the floor and rugs were dusty. My husband had to beat down the cobwebs himself when I couldn't stop sneezing. We tried to find a vacuum cleaner to clean up but there was none. There was also not enough toilet paper so we had to call the onsite manager. The instruction for the TV as listed in the binder is not correct, we also had to get the onsite manager to show us how to properly work it.

We enjoyed staying at the condo for all it had to offer as far as location and amenities. I would strongly suggest that the management take a closer look at its cleaning service because they need to do better. The condo needs a thorough cleaning and dusting job.

Missing Towels and poorly stocked and managed

  • 2 of 5
We stayed here in September but arrived late on a Friday evening. Although the location and appearance is nice, we only received 4 small towels for the 6 person lodging. We only had 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper in the entire place and not enough dishsoap to do the dishes. It was too late to contact the property management so we went to Safeway that night. We also didn't sleep well because the sheets were rough and obviously well worn and balled . . they were so rumpled & stained we thought perhaps they had been slept on previously. There wasn't any bakeware for the oven use. The TV viewing area only seats 4 people. Aside from that all the windows and doorways had massive cobwebs. We mentioned this to the Property Management after we received a bill for the missing 2 towels and had to explain that the home was clear insufficiently cared for. They really didn't care about our experience and if I was the owner . . . I would flatly fire them!

Owner's Response: Our unit is stocked with 6 bath towels, 6 wash cloths and 6 hand towels as well as a roll of TP in each bathroom, paper towels in the kitchen and dishsoap. The townhome is thoroughly cleaned after each stay. There is an emergency on-call phone number given with the lockbox code before your stay as well as listed at the unit itself in case you have any emergencies over a weekend or evening hours. The tv room has a couch that sits four adults as well as two chairs.

Perfect spot in Walla Walla

  • 5 of 5
I stayed here with two friends for a girls' wine weekend. The location is perfect - right behind the Marcus Whitman and within walking distance of everything downtown. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We had a bit of trouble with the refrigerator not cooling but the concierge, Bud, took care of it immediately and also helped us when we inadvertently locked ourselves out (he was actually in the parking lot when I called him!). The only problem I had was sleeping in the downstairs bedroom. There are very, very paper thin shades on the windows and the outside property lights blared into the bedroom all night. I finally picked up some eyeshades and got some sleep. Otherwise the property was perfect for adults or families with older children (lots of stairs and balconies).

Close to Everything

  • 5 of 5
We had a group stay here and we loved it. The decor matched all of our style and the home was beautiful. We took full advantage of the roof top deck. The only issue with the deck was that we had a large dinner there, so had to take food up 2 floors, past the bedrooms floor to get to it, so that just seemed like a strange design otherwise great.

The only and biggest issue we had was with the kitchen, specifically with how it is stocked. It is gorgeous, with the most up to date appliances. Really gourmet. With the exception of how the kitchen was stocked. The pans were thin, and small. Very limited kitchen utensils, and equipment. Everything felt almost dollar store quality. We expected that the items would match the quality of the kitchen and it wasn't the case. The kitchen was one of the main reasons we rented this property. it is beautiful. We shopped at the farmers market all weekend and made almost all of our meals at the house. So it was dissapointing that we had to actually shop for some items to cook with.

Other than that, the house was fantastic.

Great spot in Walla Walla

  • 5 of 5
This was a terrific place for 3 couples. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. It's clean and modern and the kitchen was great. The rooftop was the best part-overlooks the city/area and has a ton of seating. The living room is a little small but it still worked for our group. The location was ideal as it's just a couple of blocks from downtown (wineries, restaurants, shops), and was just behind the Marcus Whitman. We would stay here again the next time we have a group that wants to all stay together. It is four stories though so people will need to be able to walk up the steps.
