Better Than I Expected!

This condo is great value for business travellers or families on vacation.
This was the first time we'd used HomeAway and I was nervous about the property not being as advertised or that if we needed help, it might be difficult to contact someone.
Well, we had no need to worry. The condo exceeded our expectations and Ed was very responsive in returning calls or emails.
The description is very accurate re location and amenities.
We were a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 children under 5.
The location is walking distance to the downtown business district, convention centre, Pine Stree, Pike Place, the beach, and Shoreline Village. The free Passport bus goes in front of the building and goes to other attractions.
The building is very secure. There are two parking spaces plus additional guest parking. The pool and hot tub were very nice and we didn't use the fitness centre (we went running on the beach) but it looked very well-equipped.
The condo is bigger than it looks in the photos. The master bedroom is down the hall which provides some privacy. It also has a TV. The master bathroom has a shower, soaker tub, double vanity, and toilet closet. The second bathroom has a sink and toilet. The kitchen is very well equipped with dishwasher microwave, and toaster and lots of pots, dishes, utensils, etc, including plastic dishes for kids! We were impressed that there were already coffee filters and condiments, which we normally have to buy. The dining table seats 4 plus 3 bar stools. The 2nd bedroom had a telescope which my husband enjoyed. The unit does sleep 8 but we just used the master bed and the pull-out sofa in the 2nd bed. You can see the ocean from every window, including the beach, and the streets and parking lot that comprise the Grand Prix racetrack below, the Queen Mary, and the container pier in the distance. This would certainly be an ideal location to see the Grand Prix!
My only suggestions for improvement would be: 1) the wireless internet was not working when we were there but the wired connection was fine and very fast; 2) it would be nice to have more than one set of keys so that we didn't have to co-ordinate if we were going out in smaller groups; 3) hand soap in the bathrooms would have been convenient.
The condo is very clean and well-maintained. Thanks for making this a great stay. I would recommend this property
