This enchanting luxury home is the largest of 3 rental properties privately owned and operated on Pine Street overlooking Little Traverse Bay in a secluded and romantic residential area. We're located on the first corner upon entering the City of Harbor Springs off Main Street so we're an easy walk to all the downtown activities.

Our luxury home at 690 Pine Street is approximately 2900 square feet. There are 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms on the main level and 2 full bathrooms. The family sitting and dining areas are spacious, and the sliding glass door opens to a large deck with furniture and a beautifully landscaped yard with amazing views of the Bay.

There is a separate lounge with a fully-equipped bar for family and friends to relax. The lower level is completely open with several pull-outs making it a great spot for children, young adults or visitors. There is a TV area, kitchen and full bath on that level too!

The heated garage is detached and includes a ski rack. Also available is a Studio Apartment for rent. Our 3 properties are contiguous allowing us to accommodate large groups. You'll love how our properties are secluded but easily accessible.

We're directly across from Harbor Springs Community Park which includes a skate park, basketball court and baseball fields. Conveniently located to all the area activities for any season!

About Kennie Lyle

PRIVATELY OWNED AND OPERATED BY Suzan Sachs One of the most memorable events from my youth was traveling with my family for six weeks during the summer vacation months. I graduated from school and continued to travel with a group of friends. We would work, put our money together, and then plan our next adventure. Eventually we all settled down realizing it was a “work a day” world. I had the opportunity as a child to see so many places in the United States, fueling my current passion. Nowadays I don't want to camp. What I really want to do on vacation, now that I've grown up like the rest of the baby boomers, is enjoy luxury living right here at home in the United States. My goal is to give you the home-away-from-home feeling while opening the door into luxury resort living.

690 Pine St. is actually located on the corner of Hoyt and Main St. There is a service drive to the front of the bluff that runs south off of Pine St. That way there is no street in front of the property to block the tremendous view of Little Traverse Bay and the Point.

I went to in October for my birthday and i had a magnificent stay. The house was in immaculate condition, tastefully decorated, and furnished with everything you need for your stay at a home away from home. It was very relaxing and i got to experience the changing of the color of the leaves on the trees.It was a beautiful sight. The view of the bay was spectacular and the property was well maintained. I cant wait to go back and i would recommend this place for a nice relaxing stay away from home.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

The stay in this home was wonderful! So much room for all of us, exactly as expected. The location is great, everything we needed, and the home itself was very clean and cozy. We rented this property for one week. The ad and the owner are very misleading. The two bedrooms shown are the only two bedrooms. The square footage listed is totally inaccurate. It is a small ranch about 1200 sq ft with two beds and two baths. Downstairs, there are two twin beds and two sofas placed in one large, damp basement room with linoleum floors and a kitchenette. That's it; No privacy, no bedrooms. The owner was rude and non-forthcoming when asked why the property was so totally misrepresented. I will have to take her to small claims to obtain any portion of rent back. As a life long vacationer in Harbor Springs, I will assure renters they will do much better elsewhere and pay the same amount or less for an actual 4 bedroom. The view is ok. Utility pole and wires obstruct much of it. The corner lot is very noisy due to traffic. Clearly, would never rent this place again or any property owned by this woman.
Owner's Response: This guest was so rude. I offered the studio apartment for no charge for another guest but they refused the guest house. I worked to try to please these guests but no matter what I suggested she still was not happy demanding her money back. I don't want guest like her and will not rent to her again.

A wonderful property to spend quiet, relaxing time doing what you want. Magnificent view of the bay and sunsets from the patio. Furnished and well maintained for ease of living and enjoying a stay-away-from-home. Easy walk to downtown for shopping, dining, exploring and boat/people watching. An opportunity to enjoy the Michigan summer in real style!

The time just flew and my stay was too short. The relaxing view of the bay, outstanding accommodations and activities at Bluff View and in Harbor Springs were fun. From coffee on the deck in the morning, cocktails in the evening and a bike ride to downtown and lunch or dinner made my stay most enjoyable. The property was extremely well-cared for and all the necessities were available for a time away from the daily grind. I hardily recommend Bluff View for a time away from it all.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
