Beach Relaxation At Its Finest

The Blueberry House was a perfect home for two of the finest weeks at the IOP I have ever spent. When I first entered the house, it was spotless! And, oh, those soft, cozy sheets. After a day at the beach, snuggling in them allowed me to stay rested for my next full beach day, which, by the way, was only a short walk away. And guess what? Your comfortable beach chairs are furnished by the owners during your stay. With a television in the living room and both bedrooms, you can stay abreast of the weather and tides so your time at the beach can be maximized.
Not only is the house roomy and cozy but the homeowners are also absolutely delightful. The yard is spacious and fenced for your dog's protection, and the back porch is a rare treat. I spent many evenings there relaxing with my travel partner and dog with the ceiling fan on allowing for maximum comfort.
At the IOP, I always enjoy dining at the Sea Biscuit and Sullivan's Restaurant. In Charleston, Hyman's is a "must do." Also, I recommend going to the Mt. Pleasant Market on Tuesday afternoons for fresh produce and, this year, I enjoyed the Summerville Market on Saturday morning. Don't forget to go to the Mt. Pleasant Seafood Company for several pounds of shrimp that swam in the ocean the night before! They're great while you are on the island and to take back for treats for your friends.
With the Blueberry House's excellent location and ever so accommodating owners, if your party is between 2-5 folks, it is one of the best vacation spots you could possibly find on the IOP. It makes you feel like you live there! My suggestion? Pack your bags and head there just as soon as you can!
