Located on the 'Quiet Side of the Tetons,' just six miles from the Grand Targhee Ski Resort access road. Less than an hour's drive to Jackson Hole Ski Resort and the world-class galleries and restaurants of Jackson, Wyoming. The home sits in a meadow among old growth aspen trees. Very secluded, in nature experience, with open Teton views, including a front shot of Grand Targhee ski resort, with Grand Teton looming just beyond. The home is very comfortable, with cathedral ceilings, open floor plan, log accents, in floor heating, and endless Southern exposure. The property is three acres on the Wyoming border, neighboring the Jedadiah National Wilderness and Targhee National Forest. South Leigh Creek Trail Head is one mile from our home. World class fly fishing, back-country hiking, biking, and mountaineering in all seasons. Located just over an hour south of Yellowstone and an hour west of Grand Teton Nat'l Parks.

Nearest Motorway : State Highway 33 at 3 Miles

Property lies at the northern foot of Grand Targhee and South Leigh Canyon. One mile from National Wilderness and trailheads. Snow shoe and cross country ski, or bike right from the front door. Just head out towards the Grand Teton, or spin in a circle with a pointed finger and just go that way. The cabin is literally engulfed in nature! The nearest store is 5 miles. We are just over an hour south of West Yellowstone, Montana - the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, and an hour west of Grand Teton National Park.

Golf: There are several places to golf in Teton Valley.

Ski: Our home is about 30 minutes from Grand Targhee ski resort and about an hour from Jackson Hole Ski Resort. Targhee offers unspoiled natural terrain and is never crowded. Perfect place for the family and best powder on earth! Jackson Hole has some of the most challenging terrain in North America. Truly breathtaking.

Wonderful Mountain Get-Away

We had an exceptional two weeks at this lovely mountain home over our Christmas vacation / 20th anniversary celebration - It was picture perfect with the scenery, hot tub and all the wonderful amenities of "home". Excellent cross-crountry skiing right outside our door too! With the wood fire, comfortable beds and open lay-out, we were able to enjoy our family day and night - cooking, baking, dining and just chatting to catch up.

Thank you Leslie & Peter for sharing your home with our family and for this special mountain experience.

To anyone considering this home, you just can't beat the Teton views right out your door, they're absolutely spellbinding!

Lovely, quiet get away -

Completely enjoyed our mountain get away vacation at this lovely cabin. The deck was beautiful with a great view and so very peaceful. The two beds were very comfortable and we loved the big open layout - it made it easy to make breakfast and still visit.

Our only frustration was with the shower and toilet - neither worked that good and took some tlc to get enough water to run through the shower head and took a bucket to fill the toilet tank in order to flush. This however was a very minor inconvienence compared to all the other wonderful amenties of the home.
