The upscale lodge decor will charm you from the minute the door opens. Perfect for Michigan romantic getaways, or for memorable family gatherings, The 1,200 square foot Lake Shore sleeps up to six with ease. The large living room features a natural fireplace with a sliding glass door opening onto a private lakefront patio. The 25' cable television has front A/V ports so kids can easily plug their game systems in. Guests can enjoy both VCR and DVD players in the living room, along with a stereo system.

The kitchen with its Pergo floor is large, and open. Like the other inviting rooms, everything is newer. The birch cabinets are filled with pots, pans, dishes, utensils, & silverware. The white stove has a flat cooking surface with an over the range microwave, exhaust fan, and light. Take advantage of a full sized refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and large stainless sink. The large table accommodating up to six persons makes a great place to linger over meals and snacks.

Enjoy a variety of year round water sports. The local charter captains can easily take you out for a fun filled day of fishing on Lake Huron, or on the mighty AuSable River. The AuSable River is one of the most famous rivers in the country for fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Ice fishing is a very popular sport in Oscoda. In the fall and winter, Oscoda fisherman have a great time catching steel-head in the river from drift boats. From spring through fall, rent a canoe, boat, or some tubes, and spend a fantastic day on the AuSable River. Spend some time on Lake Huron's wide sugar sand beach listening to the lake or swimming in the crystal clear water.

My husband and 2 younger sons enjoyed ourselves so much. The moment you walk in , it is so nice and inviting. Very clean and comfy. Everything was very comfortable and nice. The view is just perfect. My husband and I would sit outside on the patio or the beach down by the water. Just so peaceful. The boys loved going into the lake and also walk along the beach. I would very much recommend this property to a friend. Lots of places to eat and lots of area out door activities to do.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
