SKI DURANGO! Purgatory Lodge (PL) ski-in/out condominium. This luxurious corner unit with its large windows is open and bright, providing a magnificent view of the San Juan mountains. Located at the base of the mountain in Purgatory Village, you are only a few steps away from a wide variety of activities. Enjoy a variety of outdoor activities including ziplining, sleigh rides, snow tubing and snow mobiling, or cross country skiing. Or you can go to downtown Durango or experience scenic mountain vistas aboard the Durango-Silverton train. As our special guest, you will also have access to PL's exclusive heated outdoor pool and spa area, club room, game and exercise rooms.

Fantastic Unit!

We stayed here during the Xmas break 2010, and had a wonderful time.
The unit has wonderful amenities (tile, counters, bathrooms) and it could not be more convenient for to the club room (free breakfast & ski access).

The owners were also extremely helpful making arrangements for us to stay an extra day in order to avoid a the tail-end of a winter storm.
Recommended for:  Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My family and I had a wonderful stay. Easy access to the slopes. The parking garage was heated and secure which was wonderful. The maid service was exceptional, friendly. No ice machine but we would call and they would bring a huge bag for our ice chest. We needed this because our family loves to cook so we had lots of food. Great kitchen by the way. The only problem we had, the pool wasnt warm enough so the kids wanted in the hot tub and the management had an age limit so my grandkids didnt get to use it, that wasn't good. That decision should be the parents, it was not even hot. Other than that it was great.
