SPRING SPECIAL-- Just $90 per midweek night at our charming townhouse at Mt. Snow, VT. Bears Crossing is a well- maintained community located a mile from Mt. Snow. The ski-home trail on Brumms Way offers you a challenging hike to the summit or a private ski trail right to your front door! When the snow falls in the winter, Mt. Snow grooms the trail, which can be accessed from Carinthia. The free Moover shuttle bus runs to and from the mountain on the weekends from 7:30am until 5pm. The Grand Summit Hotel has top-quality spa treatments available to the public and the Valley Trail is nearby for a 45 minute walk to downtown West Dover, with its wonderful shopping and restaurants. The Manchester shopping outlet is a lovely 30 minute drive away and the quaint historic town of Wilmington is 10 minutes away. Come, relax and enjoy our fresh country air! Great Ski Getaway

You will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here for your ski vacation (can't comment on other seasons yet). My wife and friends were very pleasantly surprised when I found this rental. We have all had previous experiences with not so great and outdated houses that only provided a place to sleep.

This townhouse was very well updated and pleasantly decorated. Well heated, nice fireplace, cable tv with flat screen, wireless internet, and comfortable couch - only thing missing was the dishwasher and personal chef. Location was great with a 5 minute drive to Mount Snow main base lodge if you didn't want to use the Moover shuttle (ski back from Carinthia which we didn't get chance to try).

Layout of townhouse was interesting. The entrance/mudroom along with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths are on the bottom level. Kitchen, dining room, and living room on second floor with stairs up to small loft area off the living room (small deck as well). The sleeping layout would probably work best for family or bunch of friends vs romantic getaway - no surprises check pictures. 2nd bedroom has bunk beds and the walk up loft off of living room has day bed and pullout. Master bedroom is nice with queen bed, small tv, and private bath (other bath in hallway).

Overall, definitely recommend for your next ski trip. Hope to return for our next ski trip if there are any vacancies left.

Homey Cabin on the Slopes!

Stayed up here for the weekend, and the house is wonderful!!!! Beautiful wood inside the house, perfect size for a family or group of friends, and ski trail right there!!
Great location, (around the corner from the Base, restaurants, markets, etc) beautiful home and a great spot to take the family for a ski weekend. Karen is also such a pleasure to work with to rent the house.
Excited for more skiing here next season!

Holiday Getaway

My husband and I along with 3 teenagers (15, 15 & 17) stayed at Karen's condo. There was plenty of room for all of us. We had a lot of fun snowmobiling and snowboarding. I would suggest renting equipment at Alpine, you will save yourselves a lot of money. We did need to buy one helmet, as they do not those.
The grocery store was conveniently closeby and I was pleasantly suprised by their wine selections.We enjoyed dining at the Silo, which was a nice family restaurant. They have a gameroom downstairs which the kids loved! We had over 20" of snow, so the shuttle (the moover) came in very handy to take us to the mountain. Karen was very accomodating and promptly answered all my questions. I would definitely recommend staying here. Our stay at Bear's Crossings was enjoyed by all and we hope to come again!

Relaxing weekend!

My boyfriend, our 1 year old daughter and I rented Karen's condo for the weekend to get out of the city. We had such a great time I had to review it! Karen was very accomodating for us, as we only inquired about staying 2 days before we arrived. The condo is equipped with everything you have at home, tv, kitchenware, games, grill, tons of sleeping and sitting space, quiet porch, friendly neighbors. There was even a high chair for our daughter, as well as 2 baby gates for the stairs. All outlets were child-proof, so it is the perfect vacation home for a family with small children. The community also featured a beautiful (and surprisingly warm!) common pool, tennis courts and a clubhouse. The condo was only a short, scenic 10 minute drive to town, lots of shops and restaurants to check out, as well as state parks and the reservoir. Anyone travelling to the Wilmington area (esp with children!) should consider staying here!

Hidden Treasure

As you can tell by all the other reviews, Karen's condo is awesome. The pictures she has posted don't do this three level townhouse justice...it is clean, classy and relaxing. My girlfriend and I spent the last week of May here as a retreat from our hectic city lives and got more than we expected. We grilled on the deck, played all the board games Karen has for her guests, swam in the community pool and enjoyed walks on the near by trails. What can I say...if you are two families on a ski trip or a couple needing a quiet break, you won't be disappointed by choosing this condo.
