Hilton Head Island get-a-way from Chicago

My husband and I rented this ocean-front home in April of 2010, for some much needed rest and a change of scenery. We've been coming to Hilton Head Island for over twenty years now, and always rented a house or a condo that was situated right at the ocean, because that's very important to us: to wake up, and see a gorgeous sunrise, have breakfast on the deck, and walk the shoreline, amongst other things (The Jazz-corner!).
This house that we rented was lovely! It's very comfortable and very roomy. We fell in love with the "veranda" (about 25' X 12'!), its wonderful white rocking chairs, and the dining room table and chairs there. Also there was a part that was not covered off a bedroom, where you could soak up the sun. The beds are very comfortable, actually, everything was! Downstair we found a washer and dryer, a hot-tub (!) and parking was available under the house (car ports).
We enjoyed the lovely garden, with its own private walkway to the sea, ejoyed listening to all kinds of beautiful birds (don't know their names!)
The property was very clean, shopping is a stone's throw away (also for groceries!). This house is excellent for anything one prefers: shopping is nearby, restaurants are everywhere, so are bike trails and walking paths. Nightly entertainment is close by as well. I would definitely recommend this lovely place on the beach. Hopefully we will be back in the fall.
