Beautiful House in the Woods

This was the 2nd time we rented a house & the 2nd time we were glad we did. This is a great house! Our family of 5 all fit on the comfortable couch & our daughter enjoyed the privacy of her downstairs bedroom. Having 3 bathrooms to choose from is always a pleasure. The house is very clean & has plenty of everything you need. There's even some Bath & Body Works items in the master bath. Our children traded in their Ipods to play in the woods surrounding the house. Everything we did was within an hour's drive, including horse-back riding, canoeing, Ausable Chasm, the Wild Center, and the ski-jumping complex, just to name a few. Saranac Lake is about 20 minutes away & Lake Placid is about 35. We never minded the driving 'cause we loved looking at the forests, ponds, & wildlife along the way. It was always nice to come back to the house at the end of the day & just relax. Because of its location in the woods, it's very quiet---just what we wanted. We already miss our "beautiful house in the woods."
