Dear Ben and Erica: Thank you for sharing your magnificent mountain getaway with us, six young professionals on holiday from the hustle bustle of NYC. Upon our arrival, we built a roaring fire which warmed our bodies and our spirits. We spent two lovely days exploring the lovely Catskills. On day one, some of us enjoyed the powder of Hunter Mountain. Day two brought our group to the four-star Emerson Spa where we relaxed with sensual massages and soaks in the outdoor hot tub. What a comfortable house in such beautiful surroundings. We especially delighted in the surrounding brook and fire pit. It's rare to find a cabin with so many little luxuries combined with rustic simplicity. We took a pretty walk on the reservoir path and had a tasty pizza at a restaurant down the road (Merlina's?). Dear Ben & Erica: Thank you so much! We wanted a getaway to a quiet place with snow to celebrate New Year in a peaceful home. This is more than we could imagine. Everything was perfect! This was the first time my son saw snow, he loved it! We even saw a bunch of footprints in the backyard! It was so cozy here!
