Our home is perfect for couples or families who want to enjoy a relaxing seaside vacation. The ample deck with screened porch areas has eight rockers and benches, and a picnic table. It's the perfect outdoor gathering place to view the beautiful sunsets over the water, the dolphins and seabirds, and the large ships going into the Cape Fear River. The two bedrooms with twin beds have their own TV/VCRs. Each of the four spacious bedrooms has its own full bath and water views. The loft has a futon, and features a 360-degree view. Our timber-frame home even has vaulted timbers overhead in the bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped. There is an under-house shower and a garage with eight bicycles, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, charcoal grill, and a six-passenger and a four-passenger golf cart. Optional membership in the Shoals Club and/or the Bald Head Island Club with its George Cobb-designed, 4.5 star golf course, as well as fine dining, croquet, tennis, and a swimming pool.
