Come visit our vacation home located in the Centro Colonial neighborhood of Merida. Centro is typical, friendly Merida neighborhood And in the center of everything you want to see with many major Mayan sites less than two hours away. Three private bedrooms and four bathrooms surround a private sky-tiled pool with a fountain that showers sound and sunlight into every corner of the house. Comfortable corners are everywhere. As this is our home when we're in Merida, we have furnished it with completely modern and quality appliances, from wireless internet, to our elegant talavera kitchen complete with wine fridge to the highest quality linens; everything you would expect. There is complementary telephone service, satellite surround sound TV, both an outdoor and indoor living area and dining room, both of which are air conditioned, as are each bedroom. So relax by the pool at our bistro table or dine under the palapa. Come enjoy Casa Perlita. Welcome to our home.

Merida is the colonial center of the Mayan world. Day trips are possible to Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Progreso and other beach communities, cenotes and haciendas. Casa Perlita is located in the center of Merida, walking distance to Paseo Montejo, the Plaza Grande, cathedrals, museums, galleries, restaurants, the Zoo and much more.

Other Activities: Visiting Mayan ruins, colonial cities, Mayan villages, cenotes and haciendas

Golf: There are at least two golf courses within 30 minutes of Casa Perlita and there is a new Jack Nicklaus golf course at the local Yucatan Country Club.

This package is for a rental of one week at the rate of $2100, $2800 or $3300 per week, respectively, depending upon season.   • The Master Bedroom is located upstairs. It features a vaulted brick ceiling overarching a spacious room with windows on two sides for a lovely cross-breeze. The room looks down onto the central courtyard and pool, and has access to the roof terrace complete with a lovely fountain and two loungers. There is a spacious closet for storage and a sophisticated bathroom with a glass-walled shower looking out onto its own garden terrace open to the sky. The two guest bedrooms are located downstairs, separated from the main house by a small garden and a palapa-covered terrace. These bedroomss are air-conditioned and have large bureaus for clothes storage. The bathrooms are airy and light, featuring glass showers opening onto private gardens.
