Enjoy breathtaking views of Somes Sound and majestic views of surrounding mountains from Starboard Cottage. Less than ten minutes away you will find Acadia National Park where you can hike, bike, or picnic surrounded by the beauty of nature. If you are in the mood to swim in fresh water Echo Lake is only 5 minutes away where you can relax and enjoy the sandy beach. There are museums, movie theaters, aquatic centers and so many activities for a family, a couple or a solo day here on Mount Desert Island.

Starboard: 'Starboard' is a New England Cottage style decorated home. Starboard offers spacious rooms, tranquil colors, wood flooring, glorious views and plush and welcoming furniture. Kick back and relax with the luxury of our flat screen t.v.'s or simply relax on the deck and soak in the views.

With a large family room on the ground level as well as on the 2nd level you and your family should have plenty of room to spread out and relax. Enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool or take a dip in the ocean (for the brave)! Fish from our docks or take a quick drive into Southwest Harbor and buy fresh seafood.

Thrilled after their family reunion here

The entire family had a wonderful reunion, thanks in no small part to your excellent cottages. We especially appreciated the generous gathering spaces that Starboard provided. Plenty of couches for evening gatherings were also great. The bedrooms were super comfortable and offered wonderful views of the mountains and the sound. With the loons at night and the deer during the day everyone felt very much a part of the natural world. you have struck an excellent balance of civilized comfort and fantastic location.

Your arragement on the weatehr was spectacular as well :) and certainly left everyone thrilled with the location. The family from the West Coast (Inverness CA and Olympia WA) all agree that there was no where they knew of that had such an amazing combination of outdoor oportunities only minutes apart. We did it all: kayaking, biking, climbing and hiking amid the wonderful scenerty of Acadia and Mount Desert. At the end of each day, we came home to the cottages to cook and eat together. j Thanks for the extra dining room chairs you brought in for us; having room to share breakfast and dinner together gave us a place to talk about all our adventures and plan new ones!

We certainly appreciate all the hlep you gave us before and during our visit and would happily recommend your places to our friends. Ralph and I hope to be back to rent Spinnaker and have more time to appreciate the wonderful location you offer. We are not firm converts to the "quiteside" of Mount Desert.

After many years of coming to Hall Quarry we just never get tired of the beauty of Somes Sound and the Acadia Mountains. We again enjoyed our time in Starboard, and as with every Musetti rental home we have stayed in, everything was very clean, warmly decorated and just the place from which to operate from. Our friends who joined up from Delaware were just so impressed by the house, the view and Mt. Desert Is.. We will be back. Thank you for providing a beautiful and tasteful home away from home.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us! We love coming to Acadia for family vacation and have previously stayed in Somesville and North East. We loved the mountain and waterviews from Starboard and did many wonderful hikes - Dorr Mountain, Beech ladder, Beehive, Gorham and South Bubble. Also had a wonderful lunch outside at the Jordan Pond Houe! Hope to come back again soon for another wonderful family vacation!

What a terrific houes. Our family of 13 enjoyed all of the amenities offered. The view was breathtaking and we've enjoyed every moment of our stay.
