The island offers something for everyone; whether it be watching the whales (approximately 3000 humpback whales winter in the warm Maui waters), golf on one of the island's 18 courses, walk along one of its many beautiful beaches (81 in total), hike to its spectacular waterfalls, or visit the world's largest dormant volcano--Haleakala. In addition, Maui boasts every other sporting activity you could wish for (see activities listed below). Menehune Shores... Menehune Shores is a six-story building equipped with elevators and a roof-top garden providing barbecues, picnic tables, lounge chairs, and magnificent panoramic views of the ocean and the island. On the main level is a restaurant and lounge with ocean-side dining and live jazz.
