There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room which can accommodate two more. The master bedroom with King size bed looks out on the front yard with its peaceful mature olive and fruit trees. The color of the master bedroom’s wall colors echo the sand stone mountains that are the treasure of this home. The three other bedrooms, featuring a queen, double, and two twin beds, respectively, view the pool, side yard, and the mountains beyond. All rooms have spacious closets as well as storage for clothing so you can settle in and relax. An air mattress provides additional sleeping.

Its fully outfitted for cooking the most simple to the most complex dinner. Appliances include a dishwasher, refrigerator, and ice maker. (In the attached two car garage, you can make use of a new washer and dryer for laundry.)

Oh, and bathrooms? We just completely renovated both bathrooms. We've upgraded with luxury fixtures, dual flush toilets, granite countertops, and stone tiling throughout. Light, spotlessly clean, and well lit, you'll enjoy the brand new bathrooms.
This house is all about outdoor living. The brand new infinity pool uses saline to keep the water soft, clear and free of that chlorine smell. Using the latest "one touch" technology you can heat the jacuzzi for a soak and enjoy a view of the pool and mountains beyond. After a swim, have dinner or drinks at the teak outdoor dining table overlooking the mountains where early Hollywood filmmakers created cowboy adventures and “The Lone Ranger” television series. The grassy side yard is perfect for a game of croquet or Bocci ball. Outdoor seating areas abound and your privacy is shaded by a wall of bamboo.
The front yard is a chorus of roses. Other garden features include unique "birds of paradise" and bearded irises in season. Citrus tress include an lemon, orange and grapefruit tress like those that covered the neighboring valley in years gone by. The neighborhood hosts several varieties of birds and late at night you might hear the coyotes in the distance.
The front yard lends itself to a child’s game of “hide and seek.” Located on a quiet cul de sac at the top of a hill, the neighborhood is child welcoming yet a peaceful retreat for adults.

Managing property is a great way to meet people and share this lovely home. I'm pleased that we've had renters from Europe to California. A lovely location with weather nearly always "in season," I enjoy spending time upgrading and keeping the house ready for our next guest. I'm so excited about our new saline infinity pool as well as the ability to offer the flexibility of a three or four bedroom house depending on your needs. The Owner purchased this house in 1965
The house really has the best of both worlds, in a quiet neighborhood but accessible to all LA's glitz and glamour. Whether you want a quiet retreat or a home base to explore, I never get weary of all the house has to offer.
We loved staying at this house. The pool and hot tub were nice to come home to each evening. The house is very comfortable even with several people in your group. The owner communicate well and has a book inside that addresses everything properly. It is a little out of the city but that makes it a nice place to retreat to because it is certainly in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The view, the yard landscaping and the pool are the highlights of this house. We enjoyed eating the fruit from the trees in the yard. The grapefruit was the best I've ever had. Th pool and hot tub were heaven, we paid additional to have it heated in May. Cousins from three states hung out at this house while in LA to attend a wedding. Plenty of room for 8 adults, immaculately clean, comfortable beds, best equipped kitchen I have ever seen in a rental house. We all love to cook and we took turns making meals. We were amazed at the selection of kitchen gadgets, cookware and serving/eating-ware. For a wonderful day trip drive straight West on Tapanga Canyon Road and you will end up at the ocean; turn right, head north to visit the Adamson House Museum and right next door, the Malibu Lagoon State Park; continue north to return to the house via the scenic Malibu Canyon Road.
I had the pleasure to renting this property for 2 weeks, when I took my family and friends to visit LA. The property was exactly what you see on line, it was spotlessly clean, the pool and views beautiful and the facilities first rate. The owner was exceedingly friendly and available and helpful in numerous matters. I would certainly highly recomend to anyone wanting to visit the area.
We spent a great time in this fantastic home. When we entered and looked around, we where just amazed. It was beyond our expectations. Everything was perfect. The pool and spa are just so wonderful. We loved relaxing there till late at night. Everything is maintained very well, the bathrooms are beautyful. There was eight of us and we had plenty of room. The house is also very good situated. Within 30 minutes you are either at the beache, in Hollywood or in Magic Mountain. We just want to thank Raquel für letting us stay in her fabulous house, we would recommend it to everybody.
My family of 8 adults and 1 child had a wonderful stay at this home this past August. We rented the home for 1 week (we had a family wedding to attend) and it was everything we could have asked for. Obviously the pool and hot tub are a huge plus, but the home overall is just very "welcoming" and it accommodated all of our needs. We did not feel over-crowded with the number of people staying in the house and the alarm system made us all feel very secure; especially with a 2 year old staying there. The location of the house was VERY convenient to local stores, beaches, Malibu, and LA. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and you just can't beat that view everyday! The owner of the property was just so helpful and we would DEFINITELY rent this house again. Thank you for such a positive experience and we hope to visit again!
What a great vacation we had! The location was close to attractions and shopping, but still far enough away to enjoy some serenity when we chose to. This home easily accommodated two families. We were able to relax by the pool in the afternoon and enjoy the mountain breeze in the evening- all to a magnificient view! The sunset was spectaculaar. We stilll miss the view and California. We highly recommend this home and we can't wait to go back!
