Couldn’t be better

This newly remodeled stylish 2nd floor condo offers spectacular ocean views facing both St. John Island and the marina which is home to luxury yachts. The condo boasts a granite kitchen with all the tools necessary for basic cooking (pots and pans, toaster, blender, microwave, coffeemaker, etc.). The living area is furnished with a large and comfortable sectional couch and large flat panel TV with all normal US cable channels including HBO and Showtime. The condo is decorated nicely with original artwork.
The bedroom has a comfortable king-sized bed and smaller separate flat panel TV. The bathroom highlights a large shower with natural stone tile and frame free glass shower door. The condo’s corner location allows for multiple windows on two sides allowing plenty of natural light. The wrap around patio is definitely one of the condos best attributes. It is nicely finished with deck furniture’s. I could never figure out how to turn on the deck lights but they may have been purposely disabled as the outdoor candles result in perfect ambience. While we didn’t spend time at the pool is large, comfortable and clean. There small poolside restaurant/bar has been temporarily closed apparently due to some unpaid utility bills from the previous operator. Hopefully someone will get it going again soon as I could have seen myself spending some quality time relaxing at it’s bar while sipping on island rum drinks. The beach is clean and not crowded. The resort staff cleans the beach each morning. The surf on the beach was soft which allowed for snorkeling and swimming. There is even medium reef for snorkeling on the west side where we saw a variety of colorful fish and even a sea turtle. Another guest told me about seeing a spotted ray there the previous day. There are a couple of sets of fins and masks (no snorkels) stored in the closet for guest use or you can rent whatever you need from the activities desk at the beach. The location was in close proximity to the town of Red Hook which has a good selection of restaurants (sushi, Italian, pizza, Mexican, pub/bars, BBQ, etc.) and shopping (grocery, scuba shop, clothing, marine supply, etc.) The resort is clean and nicely landscaped. The resort felt very safe as there are is visible security presence with regular foot patrols. Check-in/out was easy and coordinating with the owner was easier than most experiences I have had with commercial hotels. We look forward to coming back
