Nearest Airport : Liberia at 1 Miles

Tamarindo/Langosta is located in the 'dry forest' area of the Guanacaste Provence of Costa Rica. This means that is gets less rain and more sunshine year round. The quiet town of Langosta is 1/2 mile from the lively town of Tamarindo. Tamarindo is the most developed town on the Northwestern coast of Costa Rica. It has many gourmet restaurants, upscale shops and lots of nightlife. There is also a new supermarket in town. There are an abundance of activities available in town including surf lessons, bird and monkey watching, ATV riding, jet skiing, fishing, shelling, sight seeing, sailing, shopping, horseback riding, and golf outings. There is also a spa and ample opportunity to get a massage. There are miles of beautiful beach and the ocean is warm and inviting. There are many other small beach towns nearby that are fun to explore. The sunsets over the Pacific Ocean are spectacular and can be enjoyed from many restaurants in town as well as from both terraces in the condo.

Each bedroom has lots of closet space. The powder room has a single sink and a toilet. All of the bathrooms have unique and beautiful architectural details with inlaid pebble and stone work and luxurious fixtures and trims.

  • There are three bedrooms each with its own large bathroom. There are two master bedrooms with king sized canopy beds and a guest room with two twin beds that can be converted into a king sized bed. The master bedrooms each open onto their own large terraces with spectacular views of the Pacific. The main level terrace has two large plush couches and a dining table with seating for six. The upper level terrace is private and has two lounge chairs with ottomans. Both master bedrooms also have french doors opening onto 'Juliet' balconies overlooking the ocean. There is a queen sized sofa bed in the living room and a fourth bathroom/powder room off of the kitchen. The unit is designed through out with stunning architectural details such as barrel vaulted and coved ceilings and archways graced with custom carved pillars.

Notes: There are three bar stools at the kitchen counter and a small breakfast table for two in the kitchen. The dining table can seat eight. There are two full sized couches, a large dining table, and a BBQ on the main patio. The upstairs master has a private patio with two large, comfortable chairs, each with an ottoman. The views of the ocean and the sunsets from the patios are absolutely amazing! The swimming pool is huge and overlooks the ocean. There are lounge chairs, tables, chairs, and shade available. Maid service is included at 2/3 days a week. There is a concierge who can help advise and plan activities and outings. The 20 unit complex is private and gated and has 24 hour security.

Your condo was very nice and comfortable and in a great location. Made us feel like we were home. The pictures you supplied were exactly how everything looked. The management company was very helpful with any inquiries. Thank you for supplying washing machine and dish washing detergent.

We were so happy we choose your place. There was enough room for everyone to be comfortable. We loved our breakfasts out on the lower terrace and private evening sunsets on the upper one. The swimmable beach was a short walk away and the town was a quick drive and parking was easy. This is a perfect quite destination to relax, but close enough to all the action in town. We were pleasantly surprised by a wonderful couple that we saw in the morning from our window giving massages on the beach. They only charged $40 and it was well worth it. The BEST BEACH was Playa Conchal where the beach was sandy and great for swimming, the water was beautiful and there was a nice little local restaurant to get good food and beer. Also, the best restaurant in Tamarindo was called Pangas. They have fresh seafood, and we totally enjoyed the lobster meat served in a coconut – make reservation as they are busy. We will return back someday to your condo.

Best Vacation Ever!

We just returned from spending 5 wonderful nights at Jane's condo. It was such a beautiful home, clean and comfortable, in the perfect location. Langosta Beach is quiet yet stunning, sometimes we had a whole stretch of beach to ourselves. Tamarindo was a 10 minute walk, so we weren't too far from all of the action either. We felt safe and secure at the condo, security was very nice and was very helpful when we needed a taxi.
We had 5 people at the condo, and there was PLENTY of room. You can easily have 7 or 8 people at this condo and still not feel as though you are on top of eachother.
There is a little grocery store just up the hill from the condo where we bought some food/drinks.. very convenient and it stays open pretty late.
Just past the grocery store is a little surf bar, where we ended up a few nights. They have lots of bar games, some bar food, and the owners, Mike and Wendy, are super nice!
All in all, such an awesome trip! I could talk for days about how great of a time we had. Can't wait to go back and stay in the condo again!!!

This condo is nothing but awesome

There is nothing I can say about this place but WOW! The location is close to everything. One of the best surfing beaches is just steps to the south. Tamarindo is a short cab ride away. The food was unreal. Everything was fresh. There is plenty to do with tours very reasonable and close by. The all day trip was just that, all day. With zip lining, horseback riding, mud bath, and the scarey water slide, The shopping was great. We couldn't have had a more perfect time. Now the good part. The condo itself. It very well decorated and confortable. The tile work is no less than a thing of beauty. The pool was perfect and we almost had it to ourselves. The beds were very confortable. You will not be disappointed. We spent 10 days and could not have ask for more.

What a place!

Jane: Wow! What a vacation. We had so much fun in Costa Rica and it was made all the better by getting to stay in your lovely condo. It had everything we could have asked for. Everyday we enjoyed sitting on the porch enjoying the breeze, birds, and view. It was so gorgeous. The pool was so warm and enjoyable. We enjoyed looking at the wildlife in the tide pools, walking the beach and body surfing. The excursions you recommended were right on. The estuary tour guide was the best. He was able to spot things we would have never seen. We loved the snorkeling excursion and the zip line was awesome. Sneaking in a horseback ride the last day for the girls topped it off. We had dinner out each night. There are more restaurants we wanted to try so we will just have to come back. All the food we had was just outstanding. So fresh and delicious. Thanks again so much for sharing your beautiful home with us. We hope to return someday! Love, Mary
