Kallak'ala retreat is located in a quiet and peaceful setting on the beautiful Oregon coast. Two stories of floor to ceiling windows open to an expansive view of the Netarts bay and Cape Lookout State Park in our great room. The retreat sits on nearly two acres, with meadow space and forest adjoining the property. Perfect for everything from family reunions, organizational retreats and friends who want to spend some time catching up. The house was designed and built with the needs of people with mobility impairments in mind. Accessible kitchen opens to great room so that meals can be created and enjoyed together. Feel your worries melt away as you sit on the deck and watch pelicans fish in the bay,spend your time curled up by the fire with a good book or sharing memories with old friends. Kallak'ala sits on a small bluff right above Netarts Bay, at about the midpoint of the bay. Netarts Bay is a pristine estuary with a high salt water content that provides abundant wildlife viewing from the deck, as well as near by clamming and crabbing. The town of Tillamook with it's Tillamook Cheese Factory and Air Museum is about 15 minutes away. The house is on 1.7 acres of land that has a field for group activities and is partially wooded. Cape Lookout State Park is two miles south. The area is quiet and peaceful.
