The name says it all, “villa of the hills”. Stunning views abound along the winding mountain road leading up to the 3-acre estate of Villa delle Colline. Inside its gate, ancient cypress trees line the driveway. Olive and fruit trees dot nearby hillsides while herb and flower gardens surround this gracious two-story home. You may want to pause by the terrace near the front entrance to soak in the lovely view and some unmistakably Tuscan scents: rosemary, lavender and cypress pine. The villa has been restored with attention to detail in an international, eclectic style while maintaining the integrity of the Tuscan aesthetic. The interior decoration combines antiques with modern and contemporary pieces. Enjoy local life in nearby Fiesole or other villages just a short drive away. Florence is within 20 minutes and Siena within 45 minutes. Just on the outskirts of Tuscany’s capital, Villa delle Colline provides the perfect home base to explore both city and country life in Tuscany.
