To start with Tania was an absolutely amazing host and the house was immaculate and they were incredibly accomodating.

We have lived in hawaii for over 14 years and were getting married and were having many people fly in for our wedding and even some people were going to stay with us at the rental house. When we met Tania and saw the plantation house we knew we found our wedding destination.

(we had 18 people staying with us at the house)

Every person who was at the wedding and who stayed there with us felt that the place was truly a magical place.

The cool breezes and warm sunshine made it idealic. It is close enough to get to the North Shore and to drive to Honolulu or Kailua without a problem, yet it is far enough away to know that you are in country paradise.

The maintenance personnel were very friendly and helped maintain the house the whole week along with the pool and jaccuzzi cleaning service.

The house had a lot of great space in the front yard you can play a legal soccer game in it if so desire, or just lie on the grass and watch the sky pass by.

Also the lounge chairs are absolutely amazing, a lot of great reading and naps tooks place there.

The walk across to the beach, is a whole 50 feet, and is home to a really great rope swing, the beach is more for floating and kayaking. Not too much of a swim beach and a lot of rocks. But you can be at a sandy beach in 5 minutes if you so desire.

The listing is very accurate in its description and the little chapel is beautiful as well, we had the ceremony on the yard, with a majestic mountain in the background.

I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to be with friends and family for a week and just enjoy the days in a very beautiful and relaxing area.

A Week to Remember

We are from Alaska so we were very excited about attending our son's wedding in Hawaii. The Plantation buildings need some updating. The main house was great. the cabana rooms need to be redone, especially the bathroom. I am a bug freak and the slatted open air door to the bathroom had me in a panic. It turned out ok though. I only saw one cetepede. Aside from that, it was wonderful. I will dream about that huge covered veranda looking over the ocean for the rest of my life. We spent hours on it. The grounds are just gorgeous. The mountains in the back and ocean in the front are a hard combination to beat. The kitchen was very well stocked with dishes, wine glasses, appliances etc. The pool and hot tub were only empty a few hours in the middle of the night. There were 18 of us there and the kids had a ball. They lived in that pool. The bar b que area was terrific. There was just so much room to spread out. The wedding was so beautiful in that setting. We had it on the steps of the chapel. There was a tree overhaning the steps that was just dripping with orange flowers. It was the perfect site. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. If those bedrooms and bathrooms in the back building are remodeled, this place would be unbeatable. I would really like to give this place two ratings. I'd give that building a good, but the rest of the place is an excellent.The caretaker was so good. He was out there almost every day kept those grounds sparkling. It was an amazing week.
