You can't beat the location or price of this spacious (1185 sq. ft.), bright, updated, nicely decorated and well equipped penthouse condominium. Located 175 yards(meters) from the Quicksilver Super 6 Chairlift at the Breckenridge Peak 9 Base Area. The Main Street of Breckenridge is a 1 block walk.

This 2 bedroom 2 bath condominium sleeps 8 comfortably. The master bedroom has a log headboard king bed, dressers and ample closet space, with a TV, DVD/VHS player. The remodeled master bathroom includes a large walk-in shower. The stackable washer/dryer is also in the master bathroom.

The 2nd bedroom has 2 queen beds with dresser and ample closet space, with a TV and VHS/DVD player. A remodeled bathroom is located across the hall.

The living room has a leather queen size sleeper sofa, a day bed, beautiful stone gas fireplace, 55' LCD HD Cable TV, DVD, VHS and views of the mountains.

Other amenities of this penthouse condominium include free wireless internet access, a fully equipped updated kitchen, a washer/dryer in the unit, 1 assigned parking space in the heated underground garage, 12' x 14' roof top deck, a covered balcony with a gas grill and mountain views. There is snowboard and ski storage in the entry way of the unit. The building has a shared pool complex, this includes a heated outdoor pool, 2 large outdoor and 2 large indoor hot tubs.

The Columbine Condominium building has just completed a $650,000 exterior remodel in 2009. This includes New Decks, Windows, Stairs, Stonework, Woodwork and Textured Stucco Walls.

About Glenn or Barb Haefner

Glenn and Barb Haefner are an active couple with two adult children. Glenn is a pilot for USAirways. When he is not flying, he enjoys skiing, 4x4 off roading, fly fishing, repairing cars, exercising and volunteering on the Columbine Condominiums Board of Directors.

Barb works part time at their church. She enjoys cooking, gardening and exercising. They travel from their home in North Carolina to Breckenridge several times a year. This allows for about 25 days of skiing a year. In the summer we enjoy fishing, hiking and 4x4 off raod driving.

We hope you can enjoy the comfort and location of our mountain condominium.

We love the location of our condo in the mountains, walking distance to chairlift and town. Breckenridge is also a real town, people live in town all year long. It is not just a town of second homeowners.

We enjoy walking to the Quicksilver Super Six Chairlift in the morning. Coming home for a relaxing lunch.

In the summer we hike from the condo up the ski area trails. We can also walk to fly fishing on the Blue river.

This was the perfect place for our family of four. It's close enough to the lifts to walk, but far away enough to be nice and quiet. The owners made sure that the kitchen has all the necessities and the condo was very clean and comfortable. We couldn't have been happier with our choice!

Perfection!

We booked this condo for a couples weekend away. Everything about it was perfect. The condo is updated and very well maintained. It is obvious that the owners take a lot of pride in the place. It is a prime location with easy walk to the base of peak 9 and to the town of Breckenridge (Breckenridge Brewery, Mi Casa Restaurant and Blue Moose are super convenient to name a few). We took advantage of the pool area with a heated pool and FOUR(!!) very large hot tubs (2 inside and 2 outside). There are also 2 balconies with ample outdoor space. The Haefner's were very quick to respond to emails either by phone or email when I had questions about the condo before arrival. The only negative was that the condo is on the third (top) floor...but, it is the only unit on that floor and means you don't hear the neighbors stomping! We would definitely stay here again on future trips.

Outstanding Place to stay, Family all loved it

It was perfect for what we needed for our summer getaway. We have stayed in other units in the same development, but this one was cleaner, with a newer kitchen, and a washer dryer. The pool that this unit gives access to, is huge for the kids to play in. The pool area also has two huge Jacuzzis in the summer that are open! The floorplan is great. The photos are a good representation of what the unit is like. We had a problem with the sink since the faucet was brand new. We called the owner, and low and behold, a handyman was at the door in 8 minutes, and he fixed it on the spot. We will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic unit just steps from the ski lift. Within walking distance to town and a skip and a jump from a Breckenridge Brewery. The condo is modern, spacious, and comfortable. It is well taken care of and we will most definitely seek out this unit again for our next visit.

Excellent Stay

Condo was exactly as described and very clean. Plenty of room for our family of 5. One of the best stocked places we have encountered in a rental. Dealing wth the owners was also incredibly easy. We could not get our large SUV in the garage (pretty low clearance), so cannot comment on that, but there was plenty of close parking outside. Easy to walk into town.
