Excellent cozy house with great housekeeping

We and our friends (three families, 8 adults, 4 kids) stayed here from 21st-24th Dec 2012. The house is well maintained and the care the cleaning people took to keep things clean and organized was great. The beds were made up very professionally and great quality linen. The house is warm even in the midst of the major snow storm that hit Tahoe during our stay. We used the gas fireplace to dry our ski boots and helmets.
The driveway is big and it can easily park 3 cars near the steps without blocking the semi-circular driveway. The kids built snowman and sledded in the backyard after our daily trip to the Northstar ski resort, which is about 9.5 miles away.
The living room is filled with books and boardgames, something we didn't use much as we enjoyed our company and a few bottles of wine after long days on the ski slopes.
We liked having a gas stove and a very clean refrigerator.
The owner is very responsive and I am amazed why there aren't any reviews so far. We enjoyed our stay very much - this is now our favorite vacation rental.
