Remodeled, clean, comfortable and cared-for--and not just another 'rental cabin', we know you'll enjoy this home as many others have. Wake up to the rising sun in this cheerful master bedroom and tell us if you agree: it's special! With long driveway off the road, we're in a natural, wooded spot and well separated from neighbors. Have fun on the 10-mile lake, shop, hike, ski, explore--or just plain relax here at Lake Haven. There are activities for all 4 seasons, including swimming off the dock or from our small sandy beach (our protected cove is out of the strong winds) and boating with the canoe and rowboat provided. Two decks (one right over the water!) provide great places to have lunch, read a book and lose your cares. Area attractions include many restaurants, the shops of quaint Bridgton village, country fairs, craft and antique shops, museums, movie theaters (including a drive-in!) and more shopping, amusements and attractions in nearby North Conway, NH.

Our yearly ice fishing weekend in Maine could not have been better. This was our first stay on Moose Pond. The cottage was right on the lake. We could watch our traps from inside by the fire! Lots of trails for the snowmobiles and our golden loved the snow. The kids took advantage of the closeness of Shawnee Peak - just up the road.

The cottage's kitchen was great for a larger dinner party. We had ten for dinner Saturday night!

Great location and a wonderful cottage!

Great location! Our winter stay was great and the house was very nice - the fireplace can't be beat! Quick access to snowmoblie trails, hiking trails, and of course, right on the lake! We'll be back.

We got this cottage at a silent auction for a non-profit we support. What a treat! It is RIGHT on the lake, and though it was too chilly for boating, it was unseasonably warm and sunny. Such a wonderful retreat only 1 hour from Portland!

Even though it was the 1st weekend in November, and the peak leaf season was just past, it was spectacular and the color was still awesome. Lots of walks, but it was the first weekend of hunting season, so we did not go deep in the woods -- there were many hunters visible and in ear shot!

The cottage was so comfortable, and had heating zones so you could be toasty without wasting energy! The only caveat: the beds upstairs are in an open loft, so you have to be careful what configuration of guests you have!
