This is a classic cottage style home with a lot of room for the whole family. A traditional front porch to enjoy the afternoons leads into a large living room with hardwoods and comfortable leather furniture. The formal dining room seats 6 around the table and an eat in kitchen counter can hold another 4 around the island. The kitchen has new stainless steel appliances and marble tile floors. There is a wonderful enclosed sunroom and office off the back of the house for enjoying the day reading or accessing the wireless internet. The backyard has a new large deck with a new grill, patio furniture, and umbrella to enjoy the beautiful sunsets and great weather for your vacation at luxurious St. Simons Island. The master suite is situated above the garage for a private retreat from the rest of the house. A separate sitting room with two comfortable chairs, a library of books, and TV with DVD and VCR player allow you to relax in your own sanctuary.

Notes: This is a great house for a couple or a family with children due to the master suite located over the garage to provide a superior level of privacy. This is a great house for families with children- especially babies! We have 2 cribs, stroller, high chair, little red wagon, beach toys, kids toys, books, movies, a changing station, and one of the guest rooms filled with childrens toys. Save yourself the trouble of lugging ALL the child equipment when everything is already here! All three bedrooms are located upstairs, as a result the home is not well situated for people that prefer ground floor accommodations.

Located Close to Everything...: The house is located in the desirable Harrison Point Subdivision, a managed and landscaped community that is close to everything on the island. Walk to dining, shopping, grocery shopping, a drugstore, a movie theatre, banking and more. Explore the bike and walking paths throughout the island! The house is 3 miles from East Beach, 2 miles from Redfern Village, less than a mile from Sea Palms Golf. Enjoy being close to the entire island and it's many amenities!

We had a great experience at this rental property! The house was beautiful, even better than the pictures let on and much larger and more spacious than we thought it would be. One of the greatest benefits was all the accommodations for our young child. We didn't have to pack a crib, highchair, or stroller! I would recommend this to anyone, and the previous review was right about the beds being superbly comfortable!
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

This house was wonderful. The beds were superbly comfortable. The location was great--close to everything (only 2 minutes from Sea Island). And it's in a quiet neighborhood. The house was in great shape on the inside, and it had plenty of natural lighting. I'd recommend anyone to stay here! Thanks!
