Photos and Description of the Elba vacation house rental

Our holiday home is located well off the beaten track in a garden with many flowers. It is an old Elba home (250 years) which has been renovated. It has been privately owned for 25 years. There are many terraces in front of the kitchen-cum-living-room, which offer a beautiful view of the sea and a nature reserve. There is a guest house in the garden.

Zanca is located on the western part of the beautiful island of Elba. It is a very small, quiet spot well away from the usual tourist hectic. It borders on a nature reserve and has kept its original charm.

Anwesen mit viel Charme

Das sehr schöne Haus liegt in einem wundervoll angelegten großen Garten mit herrlichem Meerblick u.a. auf Korsika und die vorgelagerten Inseln. Die Einrichtung ist einfach und charmant – wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Der nur 50 Meter entfernte Lebensmittelhändler hat uns fast rund um die Uhr versorgt. Die Vermieterin ist sehr aufmerksam und hilfsbereit – ebenso der Nachbar, der das Anwesen betreut. Die Strände bei San Andrea sind bestens für Kleinkinder geeignet. Vom Haus aus und auch in der direkten Umgebung lassen sich herrliche Wanderungen unternehmen.
Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren Urlaub in der Casa Ginetta im nächsten Jahr...

Viel Ruhe auf Elba

Großes Gelände, wie gesagt viel Natur fürs Geld, Für meine Töcter war es leider ein wenig zu ruhig. Meine Frau und ich haben es aber genossen. Zum Strand 5 Minuten den Berg hinunter, dort aber nicht so toll. Kleiner öffentl. Strand 80 % privatbewirtschaftet. 20,- €uro für 2 Liegen und einen Schirm am Tag finde ich aber für diesen "Strand " reichlich überteuert.
Die Menschen aber freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einzige Attraktion der Motorbootverleih an jederman, aber auch hier 3 Stunden inkl. Sprit 80,-
Das Haus is rustikal eingerichtet aber alles da was ma braucht. Die Fernsichtaufs Meer ist gigantisch. Man kann sich garnicht satt sehen.
Alles in allem aber war es ok wenn man nicht zu viel Komfort und Unterhaltungsprogramm sucht.
Owner's Response: Leider bin ich als Vermieterin der Casa Ginetta nicht verantwortlich für die Preise, die am Strand genommen werden. Mit dem Marebus kann man für 1 € an mehrere (und schönere) Strände fahren. Die Ruhe und Großzügigkeit des Anwesens sind für die meisten Gäste gerade die Attraktivität der Casa Ginetta.

Schön eingerichtetes Ensemble mit traumhaftem Meerblick von der wunderschönen schattigen Terrasse.
Sehr ruhige Lage.
Kleiner Sandstrand in der Nähe leider etwas überfüllt, so dass längere Fahrten zu weniger frequentierten Stränden angeraten sind.

Do you need a laid-back, relaxing, absolutely magnificent place to stay with lots of space, complete ocean view, tasteful decoratet houses with respect for the original tuscan style and great nature with mountain walks, superb snorkeling oppotunities within walking distance in the best area of Isola D'Elba then look no further! The Ginetta place is so great that we find ourselves comming back again and again - we long for it in the wintertime sharing our fine memories from there, looking at our photos whilst sipping some fine Elba-wine. This summer was our third stay there and it was as always soothing and satisfying! The owner is very kind and easy to deal with and if you like us enjoy original, simpel and stylish places perfectly blended into the surrounding nature and do not need stuff like pools, spa's and saunas, you will fall in love with this place too! We look forward to staying in the Casa Ginetta again - thank you for sharing it with us. Kind regards Preben & Iben from Denmark
