Enjoy the quiet side of the Big Island on the Hamakua coast in a finely constructed plantation-style house with vaulted ceilings and fans. House has TV, DVD player, internet access, and a library of Hawaiian books and popular reading. You can pick fruit in season from the yard. The house is close to great hiking, about forty minutes away from world-class golfing and beaches on the Kohala coast, and minutes away from the spectacular Waipio Valley. It is located outside of the quaint town of Honoka'a. It is about an hour away from either the Hilo or Kona airports. A continental breakfast is provided on arrival.

Lovely place w/peaceful environment!!

Spent several days on the Big Island visiting ohana(family) and this place was perfect. It allowed us to be close to our family while at the same time provided a central point to both sides of the island for site seeing. Property was very clean, had all the amenities and more, yet was situated in a very tranquill and peaceful environment. The owner and caretaker were great to work with. I would highly recommend this property to those who want to see the island by day but get away or have privacy from the hussle at night.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway
