The Best in Captiva

We spent the most wonderfully relaxing week of our lives in this cottage!!! My 2 boys stated that this vacation was "the best vacation ever!"...strong words, and my husband and I agree! From booking the cottage online through the completion of our trip, Anne and Dave Nichols, the property managers, answered every question and anticipated every need. The cottage/condo is the best location in the resort; quiet and private, but not remote; you can easily get to town or take advantage of the amenities of the resort if you buy into it. We chose not to, and didn't miss a thing. We had a seemingly private beach at our doorstep, a choice of 2 wonderful, uncrowded pools, and a tennis court. We rented bikes for the week and had fun exploring Captiva. The cottage/condo is beautiful, and extremely well equipped and maintained. The sunsets, wildlife, and the Gulf were fantastic! Dolphins jumping, pelicans diving, the gorgeous shells.....We could walk to town along the beach, catch dinner and the sunset at The Mucky Duck, and walk home along the water via moonlight. We loved kayaking at Ding Darling Wildlife Preserve too. With Sanibel nearby, you can make this vacation as exciting or relaxing as you want, but we rarely wanted to leave our slice of Paradise! We hope to return and do it all over again next year.
