This comfortable, waterfront, rustic cottage furnished with all the amenities, on Lake Travis, in a natural, wooded setting, is perfect for families, couples, and girlfriend gatherings, who want to relax on the deck overlooking the pool and lake to watch the beautiful sunset. Swim in the inviting water of our large private pool, or just enjoy the breeze and sounds of the lake. You'll feel like you're in a secluded tree house as you grill on our large charcoal grill under the trees by our large deck and enjoy nature. The fantastic new Hill Country Galleria ,other shops, entertainment and great restaurants and golf are located within a 15 to 20 minute drive from the house. It is only about a 30-35 minute drive to the heart of Austin. We have central ac/heating unit so our wonderful lake house can be enjoyed year round. Master BR has kingsize bed, other bedroom has twins and popup trundles, convertible sofa in living area. Great House! Great location! Great Fall rates!

We are in a secluded waterfront location right on beautiful Lake Travis, where you feel like you are away from all the cares of the world, but within 15 to 20 minutes away, there is shopping for anything you desire-----a wonderful new Hill Country Galleria with shops, movie theaters, restaurants, etc., grocery stores, Lowes, etc.,-------whatever you should need. We are also just about 30 minutes from downtown Austin. Although the mailing address is Spicewood, when you are viewing the map we are much further South, before Briarcliff.

Notes: This is not a 'hearty party' house, but a wonderful place to kick back, relax, enjoy the pool and the lake. No high school or college groups or wild party groups accepted. Perfect for families, girlfriend get togethers, honeymooners, etc. Lots of good shopping, restaurants, golf and entertainment within a short drive. I would consider renters of over one week, especially during the off season. The living area has a sofa which seats 3 or 4 and there are 2 recliners. There are plenty of chairs that can be moved from the dining area into the living area for additional seating. Central ac/heat. Very comfortable, charming house house----all hardwood floors and paneling.. At this time the lake is too low to dock at our place but there are several conveniently located marinas in the area Unfortunately, due to the extreme drought, most of them are closed also.

Perfect Fall Get-away!: This is a perfect place for a Spring-Summer get-away. The weather is fantastic!! Enjoy the serenity of our private location, but wonderful restaurants, plentiful shopping, movies, golf, etc. are all within a 15 to 20 minute drive away. If you want to check out Austin, we are only about 30-35 minutes from downtown Austin and the legendary 6th Street.

The cottage is warm, cozy and private and comfortable and has all the amenities that you would need., including 3 Cable TV's and WiFi. You'll feel like you're 'away from it all', and yet you are so close to the many attractions of Austin. The cottage is located only 15 minutes away from Prime shopping like the brand new Hill Country Galleria Mall, and is close to many restaurants like the Oasis, Iguana Grill, Rocco's, and many others. It is also close to Lakeway for those guests who want to play golf. This is the perfect getaway for a weekend or longer. Come relax and feel the stress melt away! NOTICE: Due to the drought and the fact that the lake level is lower than usual,our dock is not available for your boat, at this time. There are several marinas located close by where you can launch a boat. We have just installed a new central AC/heating system to add to the comfort of our guests. and are in the process of refinishing the pool

Golf: We are conveniently located close to several golf courses----including Lakeway and Falconheard. There are also several marinas where you can rent boats and other watercraft.

Other Activities: Plenty of shopping opportunities and good restaurants

We are a family from Germany and rented the house for a family reunion and had a wonderful time there. The house is very well equipped and furnished with love.

We had such a wonderful stay at your lake house that we are planning to make this an annual trip! It was so relaxing watching the sunset as we lounged on the deck. Having the pool to jump in to cool off was an added bonus. The house is so warm and inviting. We also took advantage of the great restaurants in the area. It was overall a wonderful experience.

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was really comfortable and cozy, and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The kids loved the pool and had a great time with the electric keyboard in the house! We made several trips to a beautiful brand new mall near-by and had a fabulous meal at Rocco's one evening. We would definitely do this again!

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at your lake house in September! The house is so cozy and comfortable and the view couldn't be better! The kids loved swimming in the lake and running around on the shores collecting shells and rocks. The swimming pool was a big plus too! We really felt like we were in the middle of nowhere even though we were close (maybe 15 minutes?) to restaraunts, shopping, stores, etc. Very convenient! Thanks for sharing your house with us!
