Island Sands is located on quiet and family oriented Okaloosa Island near Destin Florida. The building was remodeled in 2005. This like new condo is a ground floor unit with two sliding glass doors that look out directly over the beach! The unit has a completely stocked kitchen with a washer and dryer. The living room has a 32' television with expanded cable and a DVD player. The bedroom has a 20' television with expanded cable and a DVD player. A secure WIFI connection is also included. The bedroom has a king sized bed with it's own private 1/2 bath. The living room has a queen sofa sleeper with a full bath located just down the hallway. Island Sands has a private pool with a BBQ grill and a picnic area. This unit has a private patio only a few steps away from the beach.

Anytime I am in the Destin/Ft. Walton area, this is the place I stay. I refuse to go anywhere else. Right on the beach, and extremely comfortable. Highly recommended.

Great family vacation place

We had a great time this summer. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The beach wasn't crowded. Our little ones took advantage of the beach toys and movie channels. We loved having the internet connection so we could stay in touch. Thanks Melissa and Dennis we'll definitely be back. Lisa (July '09)

Great Spring Break Getaway for the family!

We really enjoyed our stay on the island. The condo is right on the beach and we loved the easy access. The property was clean and I loved having a washer/dryer right in the unit. The property overall was reasonably quiet and I enjoyed being off the beaten path of the busy island traffic. I too would recommend bringing some added padding for the beds unless you like them firm. I would definitely recommend this place in the future and hope to be back again soon.

Perfect condo for winter weather.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo during the coldest week of the year. The patio has full sun and it felt like it was warm as long as we stayed on the patio. We really enjoyed the beautiful view. The condo has direct beach access with 2 sliding glass doors. The condo is very family friendly and it had everything we needed. Only suggestion is some type of mattress topper. The bed is a little firm. The beach was beautiful, clean and quite. Perfect winter vacation. We will be back. Thank You for sharing your condo with us.
