Discover its history in walking tours -- With a step back in time visit the Whim Great House built in the 17th century and learn its story. Try your luck at the casino; visit the aquarium; and stop by the Rum Factory where you can taste St. Croix gold. Tour the rainforest; and visit the Mahogany Woodcarving Shop tucked away there. Dive in a paradise of coral reefs; and see the world-famous 'Wall'. Venture to do a night dive out of Fredricksted. It's unforgettable. Charter a fishing yacht or sail to Buck Island, the Underwater National Park, and snorkel its underwater trails.

Dining: Most of all, dine at the many wonderful restaurants around St. Croix. There are many. Abelskiver for brunch at Breezes is one of our Sunday favorites. Enjoy the delicacies of Kendricks and TuTu Benne. And, of course, days just roaming our beach and sitting under the tiki huts are always special along with having a great hamburger or salad made at the beach bar.

Activities: Nearby activities within a short drive include boating, sailing, scuba diving, horseback riding, and shopping. Tennis is on site. Golf is nearby, just 10 minutes away at the well known Carambola Golf Course. It is a Robert Trent Jones course - challenging and beautiful. There are two other courses on island - also challenging. Cane Bay just minutes down the road offers kayaking, scuba instruction and water activities. Salt River Marina Dive Shop just five minutes away plans diving or fishing trips. For the adventurous, exploring the island's rich history and its many treasures can be rewarding.
