Called 'Paradise,' Cape Coral is also known as the 'Venice of America' for its 400 miles of navigable waterways and canals. Egret Quay is located in a quiet residential neighborhood close to everything and convenient to Fort Myers airport, beaches of Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Pine Island, Cape Coral Yacht Club (open to the public), Fort Myers Beach and adjoining keys, and the Caloosahatchee River and Gulf of Mexico.

Enjoy the water park and fun park, mini golf, or one of the 130 golf courses in SW Forida. Boat and jet ski rentals are available as well as charter services and deep sea fishing. Or try pier fishing at Matlacha and the Cape Coral Yacht Club pier. And enjoy the pristine beaches just a short drive away of Cape Coral Yacht Club,Fort Myers, Lovers Key, and more. Also there are museums and dinner theaters locally.

Restaurants and Shopping: Restaurants abound from Cape Harbour dining to downtown outdoor dining. And out on Pine Island, are the famous restaurants of Matlacha. Shop at the outlets or flea markets. And of course all the local Publix food stores, Super Walmarts, Target, Walgreens and CVS Pharmacies and BJ's Wholesale Club.

Time to enjoy or relax: The pool and lawn are taken care of by contracted maintenance people so that you can relax and enjoy your vacation time. Discount coupons for some attractions included with vacation information in Egret Quay. 2-1/2 hours to Disney, Sea World, and Universal Studios in Orlando, 2-1/4 hrs. to Busch Gardens. 2-1/2 hrs. to Miami. 1 to 1-1/2 hrs to Everglades National Park and air boat tours. 1/2 hr to greyhound racing in Fort Myers. 40 min to Naples and the zoo.

This was our second stay here. The house was just as wonderful this time around. Clean, spacious and comfortable. Even though we've been here before we found plenty of things to keep us busy. A must do is Captain Doug's Airboat Ride. It was about an hour or so away but well worth it. We also ventured to SeaWorld, which took 3 hours. There is a HUGE Fleamarket in Fort Myers that is 20 minutes away. Our trip Shelling from Captiva Island was wonderful. There is a Shell Museum on Sanibel that was great. I could go on and on about the things we did. If you looking for restaurants there are plenty to choose from. RibCity is our favorite. This house is in such a great location you have an abundance of options available.
I can't wait until next time!!!! Thank you Peter and Joyce!!!

Relaxing summer

i went with my family from 7/13 - 7/17 and there were absolutely NO COMPLAINTS. The house has basically anything you can think of, it's exactly how it's described and it's close to many attractions and shopping centers. We went bowling a couple of blocks down and also went to the Sun Splash water park. The house was beautiful and the pool was nice and clean. I would defenitely recommend this place and hope to come back next year. The owner was always available and would always respond to questions or concerns within 24 hrs.

This should be a secret.....

...because we want to be sure to find an open window when we come again! This was our home away from home. We loved every minute of it. From the moment we walked in we felt that we had made an extremely good choice. The house is beautifully decorated and there is nothing amiss.Everything is clean, there are enough towels, beach towels, the grill outside and especially the pool was fantastic. Before breakfast we all took a swim and before we went to bed we went swimmming again, not to mention the times inbetween.
Grocery shopping can be done just down the road.
Joyce and Peter were absolutely wonderful before, during and and after our stay. Joyce gave us lots of info and always responded immediately after we sent an email.
We didn't go out to eat often, but on our last day we went to the Shrimp Shack which we would also recommend for a family meal.
We will definitely come again. The pictures can't compare to the real thing. This has been the best family vacation we have had.

We had a blast staying here for a week. The house is a good size and the screened in pool area was great. The house was very clean and we were pleased with our stay.

Great Central Location

What wonderful accomodations, centrally located in a nice neighborhood. The home was perfect for my wife and I and our little dog. The lanai and pool were delightful and the weather was great. The home is near all the attractions the Cape Coral/ Ft. Myers area has to offer but why leave the pool/lanai? The home is comfortably furnished and reasonably priced. Will stay there again next year.
