SPACIOUS POCONO MOUNTAIN HOME PERFECT FOR ENTIRE FAMILY, PET FRIENDLY

We stayed at the house this past October and had a great time. We lucked out with the weather, and because the house is tucked back in the neighborhood we were surrounded by trees that were all changing colors for Fall. It was gorgeous!

The house itself was very spacious and accomodating. The only (minor) snafus we ran into was that there were no towels in the house (and it said they were provided), so we had to go to KMart and buy towels for the weekend. (To the owners credit, it seems previous guests may have inadvertingly taken towels from the house.) Additionally, the bathrooms and kitchen weren't very clean upon our arrival, but nothing that we couldn't handle. You can't beat the setting -- especially when you make a fire in the fire pit and sit on the big back porch.

We'll definitely rent this house again next year!!

We just got back from our stay. We went with a group of 6 and we all enjoyed ourselves. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and there was enough seating and room to accomodate all of us. We had barbaques every day and all enjoyed the deck and sitting by the firepit at night. We enjoyed seeing the deer come so close to the house. If you get badges there is a lake & tennis courts. The house is well kept and clean. We went whitewater rafting which is only 20mins away and visited Bushkill Falls which is about 40mins away. I would definitely recommend this home and will hopefully be back in the future.

We had a wonderful time at this lovely home in Locust Lake. The house is really nice - plenty of living/lounging space. The main living room is comfortable and spacious, with a flat-screen tv. The family room, which is located through sliding doors from the living room, contains a very large dining table and sofa/loveseat, plus lots of floor space.

The bedroom (as we were only 2 + 2 dogs, we only used the master bedroom) is a nice size -- the only reason I didn't give the home a 5 star rating is because we did not find the bed to be very comfortable - although I will say this is probably attributable to just our personal taste for particularly firm mattresses. I would not let this dissuade you since I read in a review below that a family found all the beds to be comfortable. The master bedroom has another flat-screen tv.

We did some cooking in and the kitchen was very nice - contained what you needed and then some.

We swam most days at East Lake and took lots of walks/hikes. A very relaxing vacation. We had some nice meals out nearby and not so nearby. All in all, very much recommended and a wonderfully relaxing vacation.
