Summer Place ~ Our Story :
The Watts family always enjoyed the waters around British Columbia, Canada and now they have the privilege of living in Cozumel, with its turquoise Caribbean waters, perfect for diving, snorkeling and fishing.
They have now been in Cozumel for 10 years, running the Summer Place Inn.
Summer Place ~ Location :
We are conveniently located downtown on 10th Avenue between 17th and 19th Streets. Chedraui, the largest mall on the island is 1½ blocks away. Beaches are a short drive or cycle ride away.
The airport is a 10 minute drive and the ferry pier a 5 minute drive.
Summer Place ~ Activities:
Cozumel is regarded as one of the world's best diving spots. We can arrange diving and snorkeling for you with excellent instructors and dive masters. Or stay dry in a submarine ride and view a countless array of coral, fish and other live reef creatures in crystal clear water. For another once in a life time memory, go swimming with dolphins.
Beach enthusiasts will enjoy strips of white sand or coral in Cozumel. Adventurous types, can boogie a good surf on the east shores of the island. For a mellow afternoon, there are lapping waves on the west side and a range of beach clubs and public beaches.
Short and frequent ferries cross to the mainland for trips to Cancun or the Mayan Riviera across crystal blue and turquoise water. Be sure to take in the friendly people and the historic remains of Mayan ruins.
The town of San Miguel, in Cozumel, offers plenty of shopping, open air dining and an entertaining night life. Chedraui, the largest mall on the island is only 1½ blocks away.
