This cedar contemporary three-bedroom, two-bath house fronts Almshouse Creek with unobstructed sailboat access to the South River and the Chesapeake Bay, and easy boat access to historic St Michaels on the Eastern Shore. There is a deep-water boat dock (~5' MLW). Enjoy crabbing and fishing off the private pier. Owner provides crab pots, nets, and other equipment. Owner also provides a paddle boat with life jackets for use on Almshouse Creek. The fully furnished kitchen comes with an ice-maker fridge, disposal, microwave & dishwasher. The laundry room has a washer, dryer, iron with ironing board. Additional amenities include a 32-inch LCD cable TV and DVD. Enjoy the great room fireplace in the fall and winter. Special features include a gazebo on the pier where you can relax and enjoy abundant wildlife. The large open deck offers an umbrella with dining facilities and grill. All rental rates include checkout cleaning service. There's a $50 added charge for bed linens and towels.

If you wish to have bed linens and towels provided for your party, the additional charge is $50. A $100 refundable security deposit is required. We ask for a 1/3 deposit of the rental rate to secure your reservation. There is cancellation policy if it is necessary for you to cancel your reservation before your arrival date.

The historic Londontown Publik House and gardens where Thomas Jefferson visited frequently is only a short walk away.

What a joyful place to rent!

I wanted to spend a weekend with my grown children and small grandsons, and this was perfect! There is plenty of space, a nice dock with good crabbing using the nets provided, a wonderful paddle boat, and good local restaurants if you don't want to cook. The bedrooms are small, but adequate, and the one-level open space design of the rest of the house gives the feeling of spaciousness. The yard was fenced so the toddlers could not wander far. We also appreciated the sense of community in the neighborhood. The only thing we missed was an internet connection. All contact with the owner was smooth, fast, clear and satisfactory. I will definitely rent this house again when I want a place on the western shore of the Chesapeake. I highly recommend it !
