Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Candlelight Cottage is one of Vermont's treasures and Stowe's most historic residence. Though renovated for 21st century comfort, Candlelight retains its quintessential Vermont character with original features such as wide floorboards, corner cupboards, hand hewn beams and central fireplace. The house sleeps six comfortably with three bedrooms (one queen, one double and two twins) and three bathrooms. The romantic master bedroom was the original wagon and carriage barn. Other features include an inviting art library, cozy breakfast room, delightful dining-living room with fireplace and a comfortable office/den. With its antiques and country furnishings, Candlelight is ideal for guests and families without small children. Small, well-behaved pets considered.
