Centrally located for tubing, kyaking, canoeing, boating, fishing 3 rivers; cave dive or swim 100s of local springs; 2 state parks to hike and picnic; Suwannee Valley Music Park concerts; museums in Tallahassee, Jacksonville or Gainesville; hiking, birding, picnicing around Gainesville's Paynes Pairie or Milhopper Sink Hole; antiquing in several local towns, and more. OR enjoy staying at the cabin with a roaring fire in the stone gas fireplace, satellite television, movies, Game Cube and video games, CD/iPod players, gameboards, puzzles, card games, outside games and toys, horseshoes or stroll the 5 acres, sit on the pond deck and feed the fish, swings and volleyball net in playyard. Magical Place!

This was a magical place! The inside is absolutely beautiful, with a romantic fireplace too! The kitchen is fully stocked with the pots/pans, etc you need for making a gourmet meal. The grounds are perfect for a walk and reflection with your one & only. Rebecca (the owner) also has cute cats that we enjoyed watching in the yard. We highly highly highly recommend this for couples looking to reconnect without the stresses of everyday life in the city. We created memories to last a lifetime at this property.

Our stay at the Black Bear Cabin was absolutely wonderful!!! Our Granddaughter had a blast exploring the yard, watching the wildlife, and they had lots of stuff that kept her busy!!! The Cabin was very clean, spacious, and was very "homey". I can't wait to go back!! Rebbecca, the owner was wonderful and I would like to thank her again for such amazing hospitality! I would highly recommend this cabin if you are looking for a peaceful get away!
