Your 'Home Away From Home'.Welcome. Enjoy a comfortable sleep on a King Size Bed. We also have a Futon Couch that opens to a Full-Size Bed. Air Conditioned, 2 Ceiling Fans, High Ceilings, Clean and Breezy. Fully-Equipped Kitchen includes, microwave, toaster-oven, coffee maker, 4-burner stove, rice cooker, pots, pans, and lots of counter space to prepare meals. Wi-Fi, T.V., DVD player, iron, full size ironing board, hair dryer, yoga dvd to exercise, full-size Tub with Shower. Our 800 square foot, spacious, Kailua Vacation Rental includes one parking space, washer/dryer, phone, bath towels, bed linens, breakfast nook, radio/cd player and more. For your convenience, we have also provided beach chairs, beach mats, beach towels and coolers for you to use during your stay. We are located in a quiet neighborhood on the Windward side of Oahu just 30 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki and just 3 miles from the world famous Kailua Beach where you will find a four-mile stretch of sandy beach

We are located in a quiet neighborhood on the Windward side of Oahu just 30 minutes from Honolulu and Waikiki and just 3 miles from the world famous Kailua Beach where you will find a four-mile stretch of white sandy beach. A five minute drive will take you to Lanikai Beach with a great view of the twin Mokulua Islands. The beach offers, kayaking, boogie boarding, surfing, windsurfing, kite surfing, snorkeling and beachcombing. There is a nearby store where you can rent beach equipment.

First Hawaii vacation

This was our first trip to Hawaii and my husband and I didn't want to stay in Waikiki/Honolulu. We decided on Kailua, not knowing anything about it and managed to find Kiana's place quite last minute (our original HomeAway booking fell through for unforeseen reasons). What a great decision! Kiana's place was very clean with lots of thoughtful little amenities (e.g. coffee, sugar, first-aid kit, pamphlets of what to do in Kailua and on Oahu); the description on the website was very accurate. The owner sent us directions and a map and was extremely friendly when we finally met her, but was also very respectful of our privacy. We made several meals in house - the kitchenette had everything we needed. The lanai had a fantastic view of surrounding mountains - very relaxing while having a morning coffee! From Kiana's place it was ~30 walk to downtown Kailua and the beach (though everyone else seems to drive). It's a great place with plenty of good restaurants and shops. We highly recommend a kayak tour with Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks, if you're into that kind of thing.
