We needed a well earned break following our daughters wedding. Found it here in this idyllic spot. Beautiful home and surroundings. Bliss is champagne in the hot tub at midnight. I always wondered what John Denver sang about - so now I know. Thank you so much, we'll be back.

A heavenly oasis by the river

  • 5 of 5
First I just want to say, this property is amazing! It is directly on the river and the deck is just fantastic for relaxing on. And just when you think the deck couldn't get any better ... there is a hot tub. An amazing, star viewing, relaxing hot tub.

For the more active I should mention there are: lots of water craft (kayaks, canoes, etc), room to frolic to and fro, a fire pit, a dock for swimming (or jumping and and running away in the winter), and access to great areas for a morning jog.

If all of this wasn't already enough to make you want to rent this fantastic property, just step inside and find the three luxurious bathrooms, marbled master bath, full dining room, updated appliances, and living room with all leather seating and flat screen tv.

A+ would recommend.

A step closer to heaven

Words are so hard to describe this beautiful home. The owners have thought everything plus more than one could imagine. The house was amazing, pictures dont do it justices, its a must see. The home was extremely clean and well maintained. We spent the days on the river in the canoe, the eve resting in the hot tub on the deck, beautiful sunsets, my family rated it a 5 star indeed, I miss it already :)

A review requires a poet to capture the beauty and serenity this river house offers.

When I stepped out of the car and breathed in the crisp air, in that moment I planted the seeds of many future vacations. And in the same moment I remembered it was my husband's 40th birthday, so my typically anxious psychology kicked in, as I looked up at the house from the gravelly driveway, to ruin the moment as I thought, "Oh, God, we can just barely afford this vacation, I hope it's everything the owners advertise it to be." It is. And more:

You walk up the stairs from the driveway and come to a white gate that opens to the deck. The deck is surrounded by a fence (if you have kids or a dog, you immediately feel the warm-cozies knowing they've got a safe space to play within eye-shot and ear-shot of you). It is decorated beautifully with a bar-height table and umbrella - perfect for enjoying the view of the river. You, as well, have a large dining table with an umbrella. The jacuzzi sits on the corner of the deck and cannot be praised enough: clean, well-maintained, pleasantly not-too chlorinated, and a view so gorgeous that you don't want to move from that spot, ever. It is pure luxury. If we had to sleep on the deck in a tent, the price of this vacation would absolutely be worth it. But, there is a gorgeous house that goes with this to-die-for deck and jacuzzi.

As you walk in, the first impression is, "immaculately clean." Any anxiety I had about the house being as nice as the photos just evaporated. It's an understatement to say that it's better than the photos. The windows open to a view of the river and lush vegetation. I stood at the window for a while, before going anywhere else in the house, to enjoy a woodpecker, a look back at that windy road from where we just came, the mountains, and savored the sense of what the owners appropriately named this place, "An Exquisite River Paradise."

There is a formal dining area on the first floor, beautifully decorated, so well-maintained that you'd swear you were the first person to ever use it. I'd describe the kitchen exactly the same way. The only sign that anyone has ever stepped foot in the kitchen comes from an ice bucket, elegantly placed on the corner of the kitchen's island, with a complimentary bottle of champagne chilling on ice, and two champagne glasses waiting to be filled.

The front bedrooms open to a view of the river, are beautifully decorated, exceptionally comfortable beds, and immaculately clean. The same of the large bathroom with a 2-person jacuzzi tub.

You'll love it.

Thank you for having such a well stocked kitchen! We put everything to use! We enjoyed a nice long weekend away from the kids with good friends. We loved the canoe and kayaks, so fun and your deck was perfect for relaxing and watching the day go by.

Much needed getaway

  • 5 of 5
This was our much needed long get-a-way weekend in a while. We wanted a place where our busy lives would just fade away and we have found it. When we first pulled up we were amazed on how beautiful the surroundings are. Then when we walked inside we fell in love with all the surroundings. Waking up every morning to the river views was just amazing. We wish that we could have stayed longer, but we shall be back soon. This is definitely a magical place and we wish those who stay here find the magic this house holds. Thank you for opening your home to us and making this a memorable vacation

So much fun, and beautiful

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I went with another couple and we had such an amazing time. Both bedrooms with the queen beds are almost identical which i loved. And the bathroom it seperate from the rooms with an awesome jet tub and stand up shower. We spent almostthe whole day on the river canoeing and kayaking and in the hot tube, we also had a fire down by the river. The only thing is there is a freight train that runs behind the house, but you can barely hear it and you really cant see it, you only know its there if your outside. But this place was amazing, didnt want to leave, i recommend it to everyone, and i will return for sure!!!!
