This beautiful 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath two-story duplex home sits in the posh Beverly Grove neighborhood.
The house features a gourmet kitchen with stainless steel appliances (including a Sub-Zero fridge and Thermador oven/range). There's also original 1936 crown molding, a handsome fireplace and original hardwood floors.
The living room and master bedroom include televisions with over 500 satellite TV channels as well as DVD players. There's also a shared backyard charcoal BBQ and a washer and dryer (laundry soap included).
There are three bedrooms upstairs; the master bedroom (with attached bathroom) and two other bedrooms, sharing a bathroom between the two of them. PLEASE see the photos below to get a better sense of the (large) size and layout of the bedrooms.
I am entertainment-industry (touring companies, Hollywood cast and crew, etc.) friendly. The house is in a fantastic and trendy neighborhood, centrally located to easily get to all major studios and theaters. With literally dozens of great restaurants, shops and movie theaters within walking distance, it's a perfect home away from home.
The house is on a permit-only parking street and comes with TWO permits for two vehicles... bottom line, it's always easy to park right in front of the property.
Arriving on a late flight? Have to clear customs and immigration and not sure when you'll be at the house? No problem at all, I can easily accommodate your arrival, as late as necessary.

I lived in this house for eight years before deciding to make it a vacation rental. Once I made that decision, I took several months to renovate it and make it fantastic. (When it was all done, I even had a moment of 'dang, this place is REALLY nice now, I wish I was still living here!'). Not only is the house terrific, but the neighborhood is AMAZING-- there's so much within walking distance (a rarity in car-centric Los Angeles) and it's just charming and nice.
There are literally dozens and dozens of fantastic shops, restaurants, theaters and boutiques within a 15-minute walk. Two of the most successful Southern California retail centers, The Beverly Center and The Grove, are also within walking distance. Four of the best restaurants in the entire city are also within walking distance. It's just ridiculous how much there is to do in the neighborhood, and how centrally located you are for traveling downtown, the Valley, Hollywood, the beaches, and Disneyland... I'm right in the middle of it all. (Please take a moment to scan my reviews; you'll see many guests commenting on all the great stuff in the neighborhood.)

Dear Eric, we arrived as planned, and walked to the Farmer's Market and the Grove first thing. Next morning we discovered the morning sunshine on the upstairs balcony, filtered through the branches of your ancient olive tree. Delightful!! The whole place is delightful-- a memory of the golden age of Hollywood! The furniture, decoration and all of it in a delightful place to stay. Thank you!

Our family recently stayed in the wonderful Los Angeles home. We tend to avoid hotels when we can so we have more room. The house is in a great neighborhood and was just what we expected. Eric was a great and helpful owner and made the whole process a piece of cake! We were so close to everything we wanted to do. Universal Studios, Hollywood, and Santa Monica Beach. The Grove and Beverly Center were within walking distance just like he noted. The queen size beds were so comfortable and in large bedrooms so everyone had their own space. Although we didn't use the kitchen, it was stocked with everything we would have needed. I loved the charm of this 1930's home. Parking right in front of the property was very convenient, too. It was a great stay and we hope to stay again! Don't miss out on a great breakfast place down the street, Toast. It was a great finish to our trip. We highly recommend staying in this great home for your Los Angeles visit! Call Eric!
We just returned from a wonderful 4-day stay in LA. Right off the bat, I have to say that Eric is so great to work with. After we had booked, we discovered we needed to move our dates slightly. A quick email to Eric was all it took. He was so nice and gracious about everything. He also gave us AMAZING restaurant recommendations. We celebrated an anniversary at one of the restaurants he recommended and it could not have been nicer. Also, we parked our cars when we arrived and did not drive again until we left 4 days later! To say the neighborhood is walkable is an understatement. We were able to walk everywhere! (OK, we did take Uber to Pantages one night but that's it!) The house is nicely decorated and so comfortable. All 3 bedrooms are very spacious, with the master even having a nice veranda. Beds and linens are very comfortable, and the kitchen is very well-equipped. We loved being able to gather in the living room for cocktails each night before walking to a great restaurant for dinner. If you are looking for a place to stay in LA, you can't go wrong with this house.
The first thing I must call out is the extremely nice and helpful owner, Eric. He answered all questions really quickly, was very flexible and understanding. His home is in a nice spot; located close to the Beverly Center, local restaurants on W 3rd (I suggest Toast for breakfast - outstanding!) and short distance to the Grove and Farmers Market. The street is a little busy, but you don't hear a thing from the home.
onto the house. This is what I imagine as "Classic LA". it's older but is quite charming. The house's decorations are super cool and vary from room to room. We traveled with my 4 year old and 65+ year old in-laws and everybody was happy. the kitchen has utensils, bowls, cookware and the stuff you'd need to eat in. There's a washer/dryer which was huge and allowed us to not pack a ton of clothes!
I recommend this house for people looking to see LA and experience a great neighborhood at the same time. It's a great base of operations and would serve families (my daughter loved the tic-tac-toe setup) and couples well.
one thing; if you travel with kids and you're worried about them rolling out of bed (we usually travel with bed rails), don't worry. the beds are super low and my daughter was fine without the rails.

A group of friends and I recently visited LA to celebrate the upcoming marriage of a dear friend of ours. We wanted to stay somewhere close to shops and restaurants and that was easy to get to attractions around the area. We found Eric's property and it turned out to be the perfect place! From the start, Eric was amazing to work with. As the organizer of the weekend, I really appreciated his quick responses and easy going nature. He answered all of my questions thoroughly, even providing extra info that we might need (which was very helpful not being from the area). His house is roomy and comfortably accommodated our group. We loved that we could all be together. Throughout the weekend, Eric was responsive with questions that came up, which we really appreciated. He really made this part of the weekend no stress. I would highly recommend both the property and working with Eric!
I'm happy to choose it for my stay in Los angeles.it's safe and convenient for eat and buy something. Also Eric is a very nice person and help me lot on my questions. I recommend it to my friends already.
